1974 Toyota Land Cruiser fj55. California truck before coming to Florida. Features many upgrades including a triple locked 80 chassis and a 100 series 2uz V8 auto drivetrain. Truck has not been restored but is mechanically sound/ sorted and very ready to be driven anywhere. Over the Summer of 2020 it was driven from Florida to Oregon and back without any hiccups. Hey all. I know what I’m looking for is not easily found! But if anyone has or knows of anyone with an iron pig body that is in reasonable shape I’d be interested. I inherited my father in laws that he has had for ever and that my wife grew up in. However there isn’t a single panel that I can’t put my arm through.
Saw this today, imagine it is pretty rare. A shame it is in Australia.

They are both fairly intact. interiors are all there. Glass is good. Low amounts of rust. One tailgate bad other is good.

As a lover of the Toyota Land Cruiser, it pains me to have to sell my old Iron Pig. This 1973 fj55 is a clean truck with very little rust on the body, and no rust on the frame. It's also great running wagon, which is road ready. All trim, mirrors, lights, emblems, buttons and knobs are functioning and intact. Originally from TX, there is very little rust . It has been stored indoors since I have owned it. The interior is very original condition. I have focused on rebuilding the mechanicals, and leaving the original paint in place. It has all new steering, upgraded disc brakes and 4 speed transmission/split transfer case from an 83 land cruiser. You will be hard pressed to find one as clean inside and out that is ready to be...
11/75 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55.
Runs and drives great. 4wd functions as it should. Very nice interior that appears to have been recently refinished with new seat upholstery and carpet. All electrical items work including the tailgate glass with the key and switch! Brand new 265/75R/16 BFG KO2 tires and Method wheels. Frame is solid with what appears to be only surface rust. Will need some mechanical attention to make it a reliable daily driver. Has rust spots coming through on the roof and lower panels.
Recent work includes cleaning and top coating inside of doors to aid in future rust prevention, complete mechanical inspection and complete tune-up using OEM parts and valves adjusted.

Got a clean title 1976 Pig Here Comes Factory with the front disc brakes for speed transmission the frame is in excellent condition as well as the floor and also the roof and front clip not so good shape fenders quarter panels rocker panels rear still.

Pig Party 2020 proven, cant register this pig in Ca. as smog has been removed, just had brakes and Knuckles rebuilt, plus a few small leaks, also added 5 new tires. Runs pretty good, but could use a carb rebuild, needs new windshield. back corners have rust and need repaired, a few other small spots, interior all stock except driver seat(PO redid cover) I got $13,600 into it, really love this pig,but wife is getting upset Im moving license plates around,make me an offer.

Good running condition. Engine good, Weber carb, headers,tranny, axles, shifting all fine. Was parked in the country and rats got to the interior. Still have the seats. Needs all new interior. Has rust in usual places. Window motor works. 5500$ or BO?

Been scouring the ads for month now looking for rig that would suit the wife and I without much luck.
Prefer something with minimal rust (within reason). The wife really likes the 2 tone with green but open to other colors. Not looking for restomod but prefer as close to stock as possible. Also not really wanting a project as we already have some cruiser's to work on and I want the wife to be able to enjoy it more sooner then later (so she won't gripe about another project). Would love to use for camping with family along with the Troopy here in the mountains. Something I could use as daily driver would be great also. Budget around $20k

When I bought my 1969 FJ 55 10 years ago it came with a never installed Redline landcruisers rollcage. It's been sitting in my shed since, and I am not planning on installing it. I spoke with Redline years ago and they said they have made changes to the rollcages since mine was purchased. $250 OBO. Located in Colorado, don't know about shipping. I am planning on driving to San Diego in a few weeks and could deliver somewhere along the way.
