1978 fj55. Project. Not running. Started an AFI conversion and then life/work shelved the project. Bob M floors. Brand new Gamiviti rack(not installed), partially built 4xLabs rear bumper. Dual batts w/BlueSea controller. DUI distributor. American Autowire harness( all lights working and tailgate window). 2014 F150 buckets for front. I believe it’s a 2”lift(came with) and is on 33” BFG AT’s. Speedhut gauges. I have Vintage Air heater(still have original). Spare windshield with gasket. And on and on. Was going to be my “Warthog” but se la vie. Not parting out so don’t ask.
Side note: should have done a Sniper. AFI is a pain in the ass.

Bought her a few years ago from the second owner who was the mechanic for the original owner. This Pig has been to South America a few times. Colorado truck so its as clean as an outdoor pig can be... aka, normal rust issues but less than those on the coast. They pulled the 2F two years after it was new and threw in a crate 350, I have the receipt for it too. Upgraded extended range fuel tank, no idea how many gallons.

1972 FJ55, Running and driving, clean title in my name. unsure of mileage, $12,000 obo.
I have used this pig as my dd for three weeks now, fixing stuff along the way. Gas tank was cleaned and sealed by PO. Brake were gone through by a previous PO and I has gone through the brakes as well and replaced the right rear wheel cylinders and the rear axle seals. PO had the carb rebuilt and then put a Chinese 2f carb on it. I reinstalled the original carb and sorted it out. I replaced the dizzy with an hei unit. Original dizzy needs to be rebuilt and will be included. I did not hack up the wiring harness to install the hei, I added a relay and kept the wiring intact. PO put in a new clutch and clutch salve cylinder. Turns out that the clutch...
I just bought a '74 FJ55, so I'm considering selling my '77 FJ55 project. I bought it from the second owner who drove it for about 8 years or so around Nashville. He decided to restore it, took everything apart, labeled and boxed all the parts, and ran out of energy for the project. Before that, the truck was in the Sacramento CA area. It has very little in the way of rust and what was there was due to an aftermarket sunroof that leaked. Basically, the floors rusted from the inside out. Anyhow, I've had it and replaced all the floors, fixed the sunroof, replaced both rockers and done other rust repair. The 55 is currently sitting in dry storage. I have all the original parts, so it's a complete project.

Bought this from my buddy to fix but I just don't have the time (or the skill to deal with a carburetor. I'm a fuel injected guy, I can admit it).
It's a 69 with the 3 speed and manual steering but has power brakes and a dual circuit brake system that someone must have installed years ago. The split rims and old school tires hold air.
Engine appears to be rebuilt but I have no proof of that. Since I bought it last year I have done the following:
New GMB water pump
New thermostat
New radiator hoses
New 0 gauge battery cables
New dual circuit master cylinder from City Racer ( the pig came with a booster from what appears to be a 70 or 71)
New OEM belt
New OEM fuel pump and filter element
Had the gigantic fuel tank cleaned and...

Stored outdoors in partial shade, in dry northern Nevada since '08.
Not weather tight, there's some rust and rodent damage but not too bad.
I don't know its history before that, but it did have receipts for alignment in Oregon in the 80s.
Manifolds and carb have been in the back seat since I bought it.
Engine condition unknown. Everything looks original.

We are selling our beloved “IDAPIG”. 1971 FJ55, 3 on tree, 1F with just 66k original miles. We found her in Cambridge, Idaho where she was literally in a barn for the last few decades! Needless to say she is in fantastic original shape- and yes…has rust in the usual piggy ways but overall in great original condition. Since we have owned we have: replaced windshield and rubber, steering box (Mark’s Cruisers), Alcan 2” lift, drag links, tie rods, new upholstery, original mats (still had), roof racks, new tires, carb, muffler, master clutch and more. -carb jets are clogged (float bowl fills up but it won’t run on its own; pulled a jet and confirmed it plugged with congealed gas)

Fairly good example of a Iron Pig. Body is in good shape for this vehicle with some rust in the back left corner and minor in the drive side floor pan. Lucky rust is in flat areas and none of the curved wheel wells and rockers.
Vehicle has been striped in prep for full restoration, but due to moving need to sell. Engine is in the vehicle and most of the parts boxed up. Complete car just never put together under our watch, many of the parts are in a box and are older.

Asking $20k. This is my daily driver. Just drove it 150 miles to Sacramento area and back. Easily 65 mph. Mixed Freeway/Hwy and in town. Zero issues. My plan was to drive it to the Pig Party in New Mexico as is with no worries.
05/70 Rebuilt desmogged 2F in the the late 90's. I have all the paper work 3 Speed on the tree. I have a 74 4 speed transmission/bellhousing and clutch fork. Would not need to change out transfer case. It does leak at the transmission.
