I recently lost the storage space for my 1976 FJ-55 due to pending sale of the house where I stored it. I bought it with intent of RestoMod but life got in the way. It came from Texas and has an old carbureted chevy V-8 in it. I parked it in 2001 at the time the starter was not fully contacting the flywheel and ground down teeth on both so starter just spins. One of the movers saw it and asked about buying it. I am asking you guys to help me determine a fair price. Body is OK. It is all there but has rust around wheel wells and rocker panel. I have looked at other pigs for sale here and the prices are all over the place. What say the pig pen for a non running 1976 piggy?

Hey, figured I would post this on here to see if anyone was interested. I am located in Yakima WA and have a 71 FJ55 for sale for 10,500 OBO. It has a SOA lift with Rancho shocks, new shocks in the back. I have replaced all of the wiring under the hood as well as a high amp alternator. It also has a dual battery set up and a Warn 8000 lb winch on the front. This is a fun rig for the trails but if you are looking for that perfect restoration project its prob not it. 2F engine runs strong. Taking reasonable offers on this 1978 FJ55/56 was a barn find here is South Carolina. It has original Nipon Denso A/C that will need some work, the compressor clutch and pump spin freely but will need rebuild I am guessing. I put a carb on it and it fired right up and runs good. I have the gas tank at a shop being boiled right now so it will be clean when put back. I am in the process of doing a body swap with an ambulance door body FJ56 that is in excellent condition. Clarks-summit pa 1973 Toyota landcrusier fj55 truck originally came from Cali. Floors are all solid. Needs some body work on rockers and little on rear quarters. The rear sill on the back needs work. Other than that it’s pretty clean and a good start for a nice daily or weekend 55. Has a vintage ac unit inside and a pretty good sound system. Looking to trade for a FJ55. They don't need to be running. Some rust is ok with me. I was thinking about building this but I want to do something older.
This cruiser is running but has a slight knock at idle. Goes way when you drive. 297k on the clock. Transmission still shifts great and motor still has decent power. All power windows work. Has hail damage on the roof and hood. The rest is pretty straight with virtually no rust. Two small rust spots on just behind the front bumper. Clear coat is pealing.
As you can see from the interior pics the door panels and middle seats are in pretty decent shape. The front seats are tan leather but have some rips on them. I do have the original grey seats but the leather is trashed. Rear...

Engine fires right up & runs great. The clutch is good and it shifts well. Brakes are ok and in working condition but could use a service. All the lines had been previously replaced besides the rears. 1 Rear line is rotten and will be replaced before sale. Original alternator removed but as stated below this problem has been rectified. Rear tailgate motor works like a champ!
