Saw a 1975 FJ55 in the Denver Post. The guy's name is Chris . . He's asking $1200 in the paper, but he said he'd take $1000.

He sent me some interior pics but they were kind of dark. What I could see didn't look too bad, though. I can't buy it. If I did, my wife would be a widow. :D

I have a 972 FJ55 with a 85 2F motort installed and running. Disk brake conversion VERY LOW SURFACE RUST. 4spd. Warn 8274 upright winch, heavy duty front bumper, Confer roof rack Everything works great even the rear window. I bought it with the intention to do a full restoration though need to sell to replace my Rockcrawler mini toy that got stolen out of my drive way.
I really don't want to get rid of it but need the money to build a new toy.
I'm located in Northern Cali and so confident My FJ55 will have no problem driving cross country.
I will try to get pic's up though It might take a while because I will be working out of town till next will 2/1/05

Been keeping my eyes open for a very clean and original 55, looking for a late model 1970 or so.
Needs not run or even have a drive train.
Looking for a inexpensive project, been dreaming 1HZ diesel conversion for some time.

Very original FJ55 model, runs but smokes, 4 speed, front disk brakes, interior is in good shape, hurculined floor board, new bench seats, etc. The exterior needs some work, typcial cruiser rust but nothing real bad. No engine
No transfercase
It needs glass in the driver door and pasenger door on the driver's side. Needs some front turn signals, needs lots of little stuff and someone to love it. It has the gauges and dash stuff. It needs a front seat. If I get a good deal on seats for my other 55 it will get a hand me down from a 71 55. Has some rust here and there and a PO did some bodie work and painted it blue, it was red with white top from toyota. It has both the front and rear axles.

1972 FJ55 for sale. I consider it to be one of the most solid 55's I have seen. Body is in great shape, paint shines (repaint 8 years ago), but it needs brake work, and some motor work. saw this in a local paper, '69 FJ 55 for sale, 90,000 original miles, stock motor and tranny, seats are torn up, body beat up, I'm told not much rust.
