Trying to find someone local(ish) that will have one of those vehicles for sale. I am wanting a rig that I can take on trips and not worry about the vehicle not making it home.
My price range is really flexible depending on the vehicle, but I won't overpay for something that will need work.

This LandCruiser needs a good home. I started to make it a reliable camping/expedition rig but need someone else to take over. This is a great candidate for a V8 or Diesel transplant or keeping the original motor like I was going to do.

Decided to sell the Jeep and start a new project. Looking to do 37's and a coil conversion. Don't want anything to nice, would hate to ruin it. Don't need an engine, going to do a diesel. Hopefully something on the east coast otherwise it will have to roll to get it shipped. What have you got? Anybody want to sell a completed rig?

Tough 4x4 Landcruiser. Runs and drives great, Go anywhere, do anything. Recent lower-end engine rebuild and updated interior. Original 2F (I6) Engine. 4 Speed, 4 inch SOR lift with new 33 inch Geolander All Terrrain tires, Front Disk Brakes (75 & newer FJ55s). There is about 9K invested. Sounds great with header. Usual rust(Have started working on the rust mitigation) Replaced rockers with upgraded aftermarket rockers. Currently removing rear 5" of lower quarters. Upgraded Bucket seats with correct seat bracket, stereo works great, many new parts (clutch, recored raditator, mil'd crank, springs, shackles, wheels, carpet, upolstery, battery, windshield, tires, wheels, reupolstered tweed rear seat, extra upper fenders, replacement...

My dad and I bought a '74 FJ55 as a parts truck to compliment our '73. Purchased about 10 yrs ago. When purchased it ran and drove but it currently seems to have a distributor issue (I believe it only has a centifugal advance). I messed with it about 2yrs ago for all of 15mins but didn't get it running at the time :confused: (no silly comments allowed about the dist. wires being disconnected...I was troubleshooting!). :) It has been sitting since. :(
The rundown:
-Camo paint job. :grinpimp:
-Past owner took out the 4 speed and it has a 3 on the floor with a "new" aftermarket rear driveshaft.
-Front brakes (drums) are not hooked up, but rears work (front brake line output from master cylinder has a short crimped line on it...

No affiliation, just cruising through Kijiji adds and this popped up. Might be a super steal, the owner I think might not know too much about the 55 or what its value is. Would definitely have to see how the swap was done but could be a hidden gem. Owner states a 1975 but they claim to have no idea what it actually is.

For Sale: 1979 FJ55 Land Cruiser 4x4 4 speed, power steering. 2F engine with all emissions intact. Rebuilt carb by FJ40Jim. Recent water pump. White paint applied over the factory color sometime in the 80's. Has rust of course but not too bad. Definitely a restoration possibility. Doors have some minor scaling on the bottom edge but are in good shape other wise. The drivers side rocker has the worst of the rust. The back rockers on both sides by the rear bumper are rusty and will need to be addressed. Both front fenders have poor patches at the bottoms that will need to be addressed. The rear heater is removed but all the lines and electrical hookups are still there. Heater works, all lights/blinkers etc work, wipers work...

1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 55
I am looking to sell my FJ55 for $21,000. It is in exceptional condition. 99% original with only 44,000 original miles. I am the 2nd owner and have had it since about 1990. It has been garaged its entire life as you can see from its paint. It has very minimal rust behind the front wheel wells. It has the original engine and runs great as you would expect from an engine with only 44,000 miles. It is located in New Mexico. The only work I have ever had to do to it was battery and tires. I did change out the radio. I had someone who does restorations on Land Cruisers tell me that it is the best original he has ever seem. I have a lot of other pictures.

You all know the story...
1976 FJ55 for sale. Factory AC (works), front discs, braided stainless steel extended brake lines, Superwinch hubs, 31x10.50s.
Since owning, have also replaced: fuel pump (oem), rear window glass, brake job (inc. parking), plugs/wires/cap. Runs well and is the only vehicle that I could get going in recent -16 cold snap, not even the 80 would crank!
Standard rust and body for a Pig this age.
$2,100 obo. Would consider possible trade for 80 accessories.

hi am looking for a FJ55 no bob no chop top wanted in workable shape a 72 would be a perfect match but don't care would like rust free running and driving for 500$ but that's not gonna happen or just send me pics of what you have and how much your looking get out of it will fly any where to see up close i know a nice one will set me back so looking for workable shape thanks all :lol:
