Feel silly this being my first post, but I spend more time in the garage than on the computer! Have to sell this due to family reasons, haven't put more than a mile on it since the build. 5.3 Vortec, Rockwells, 46" tires w/ double beadlocks, 4-link with adjustable airbags, all done over the top and sure to let someone have a blast or become an instant hero! Wanted Any fj55's for sale?

I'm new to the site. I'm looking to buy an fj55. If you have a nice one that you would consider parting with let me know. I'd like one that isn't a rust bucket (i know that can be a challenge all by itself). To be honest I'm looking for something in between mild and wild that can be driven daily (short work commute 8Mi) and hit the trails. If you are interested and would like to send me a some pictures with a description and your price I would appreciate it. Any tips for good places to look would be appreciated. Hey kids, I love my 55 but the lift, huge tires etc is too much for my use. Tired of lifting the wife and kid into it all the time. Plus I might wheel it once a year if I'm lucky. Plus, I suck at wheeling. I've been planning on switching it back to a stockish/slightly modified truck. Then I did the math of the costs of new springs (to undo the SOA), tires, rims, steering set up, paint, etc and thought I'd try this route. I doubt it'll sell but if someone has a stockish pig and wants a built up one, maybe we can help each other out. Rare find in good shape with no rust. Someone called me out on that statement before, so let me clarify by saying there is no structural rust, no bondo, no rust cut out. It does have one tiny spot of surface rust that I put wax on and there is surface rust on the bumpers (which need to be powder coated anyway - sandblasting will take the surface junk right off). Recent work includes: 700R4 automatic transmission Rebuilt transfer case New drivelines New exhaust Vintage Air system Paint job GM 350 crate motor already installed when I got it. For Sale or TRADE '79 Pig Rolling Chasis

Far from perfect, but a good start. Not a lot of rust, no rot on the floorboards, just some holes below the doors. No engine, no tranny, no transfer case. Disc brake front end, reupholstered front seat in camoflauge material, and some power steering components. Good glass except the windshield. Clear AZ title in my name. Have a few spare parts.
