All original 1979 Toyota FJ40. This truck spent its life in wine country and was used reliably until stored in a barn for about 25 years. It runs great, with all features and functions in full operating condition. Even the things that break and people ignore. Has the optional power brakes and power steering as well as the improved ratio for fourth gear, which became available in 1979. I have a mid to late 70’s FJ40 for sale, this was the last year the fuel tank was located under the passenger seat. I disassembled it and had the frame sandblasted, epoxy primed and sprayed with urethane paint. I then ran into some health issues and by the time they had passed I had lost interest in the project.
I have most of what is needed to put it back together including a new tub, transmission cover, roof, front fenders, front bib and rear fender flares from Mike Gozzard. I have the steel ambulance doors and all of the other body pieces, as well as what’s left of the original tub for reference on reassembling the firewall. It has the 4 speed transmission and the 2F engine. The engine ran great before it was mothballed, no leaks...
After 43 years of owning this '75 FJ40 I am putting it up for sale. I bought it when it was only 4 years old and it has always been a California vehicle. 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser for sale

1971 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, it’s one of three I have for sale.
The Khaki FJ was running and driving up until 2021. In January 2021 I put fuel stabilizer in it on 2/6/21. The battery needs to be charged and it will start and drive. It has surface rust and a few quarter inch holes that need to be spot welded but as far as I can tell it has no serious rust. It was a AZ vehicle and it was garaged 80% of the time it’s been in NY. Has a clean titile. All three FJ’s have paper work.
