Really fun to drive 3 on the tree, 2F - 258 newer model year engine Factory Soft Top FJ40 from 1965. Runs and drives straight, starts right up. No cancerous rust. This sweet FST is a survivor. Soft top and doors are included. You don't see many FJ40's for sale without a rusted out body that even runs for $20,000 now. This is a fair price on a great runner with plenty of potential. I'd replace the suspension, do a disc brake upgrade, some fuel injection and a nicer top. Hubs lock and 4x4 engages. Have not tested winch but it should work as well.

1975 LandCruiser - this is the one year with the 2F engine but is still 'pre-smog' so it is the best of both worlds - considered the sweet spot for FJ40s. Straight 6, 4.0 liter engine with a 4 speed transmission and 4 wheel drive. The odometer has turned over so it is difficult to say how many miles are on it (it reads 49,700).
All of the typical FJ40 rust issues were resolved by replacing both rocker panels and rear quarter panels in 2021. This included floor and rear deck repair. The back half has been recently painted with grey primer after the new panels were installed. The rest of the FJ is 'cactus green'. The roll bar was reconfigured to...

Up for sale is a 1976 FJ40. This Landcruiser is in great original condition.
It has had the same owner the last 30 years.
Original paint with lots of character and very very minimal rust.
71,271 original miles on the FJ.
The prior owner had the 2F engine rebuild several years ago and then it sat and was stored and very minimally driven. It’s been driven about 1,000 miles since the rebuild and it pulls very strong.
A Holley Carburetor was installed and could use some fine tuning but overall the truck runs well.
Also had a GM alternator installed. A PTO winch was also installed by this owner.
The cruiser does not come sides or a top but included is a nice ‘Best Top’ soft top made in 2019.

All Original FJ40. Brand new high back adjustable seats and center console are only things not stock. Even the paint and floor mat are original. All gauges work and it runs good. Solid FJ for someone to restore. Hard to find all original.

Has all the stuff people want on these. Power steering, disc brakes, fuel injection, and more. Super reliable driver. Off road patina. I have folders full of receipts going back 10-15 years. Had a body off refurbishment about 9 years ago when the engine was removed and rebuilt and reinstalled with a fresh 4 speed and clutch. Front and rear drives were rebuilt. Everything on the truck works. No smog ever needed. Body has some off-road damage: dents, bent metal, cracked windshield, bent bumper. Do some body work and paint it and it’s worth 35-40k imho. No rust.

I’m selling a 1980 FJ40, imported from South America. It’s foreign specs, metric. It’s partially renovated, frame off. New Weber carb, new tires, new battery. Probably needs a new alternator (engine doesn’t stay running and idles really low) and a tune up. Mostly stock parts. No rust issues. I don’t have the know how to keep this truck going. An iconic 1976 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40! One of the best 4x4 vehicles ever made.
- Starts, runs, drives, stops like a champ.
- Great year that has the more powerful 2F engine with a 4 speed transmission (as opposed to the 1F engine and 3 speed before 1975) which makes it more practical and drivable.
- Highly sought after color combo (blue/white). Paint in decent condition - very minor rust in the common spots.
- Interior in great shape, very comfy leather seats.
- Everything is original. Everything works, with the exception of a couple gauges.

I am selling my running 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40 with a 3B diesel engine. I am asking $15,500 OBO. This price also includes the plow, trailer (shown in picture), 2nd set of rims, and back 1/2 doors. This was my late fathers, he had it shipped from Canada to the US in 1998. Only selling due to moving out of state and downsizing otherwise would keep. Its no longer registered due to being used for plowing and off-roading. It does have rust from use over the years.
