What did you do with your 60 this weekend?

Don't know if this has been shared in here. Old navy has a Land Cruiser shirt right now. On sale for eight bucks.

Yeah, I lurved that car....I've got some in a storage box in Austin, I'll try to grab some next . She was about a mile long and almost as wide, lol. I'm 5'9" but could stretch out flat in the back seat. Wimbledon white with ruby red interior. /sigh
The ‘64s make really cool hot rods.

My transfer case is split currently to add overdrive gears and adding part time kit. New Gen V LT1 is getting dropped in next week. Also adding the Dakota digital retro gauges. New exhaust. Should be ready in a month or two.

Otherwise though, tundra bench seat is BRILLIANT! How hard was it to make fit?
I was thinking the same thing. Looks like it was made to go there!

Exhaust manifold was leaking at the connection between the two parts, sourced a new one and installed it. Pretty straight forward job and went faster as expected…

I just bolted some brackets together from 1/4” slotted steel from the same HW store. I need to make up some proper brackets. The other issue is the eBrake. I have an $30 Amazon actuator I think will work, but again I haven’t made a bracket for it yet.

Well it took more than a weekend but yanked out my 2f that I found to have a cracked blocked and swapped in another 2f from Flatlanderfj40 (thanks again!) I did this the hard way and had just pulled the engine and not the trans and played hell lining them back up (motor mounts don't help either.) Fired it up and so far so good!

Over the last week, not necessarily this weekend. New dash pad installed, refurbished ARB Bumper (for sale) and test fit steel hub caps from the Fj45. Love the look, then I did the front brakes. PO swapped out stock calipers for larger 1990 calipers from a V6 mini truck. Unfortunately, the steel rims made contact with the big fat rotors.

Just got this mess back together (along with rear main seal, new clutch, checked over the H42, and spent a solid 20 hours cleaning!!) So nice to not have the whine in 4th anymore, and hopefully my re-seal job will mean no need for the bypass hose either. Oh, and lets not forget stopping (ok, realistically, slowing) the oil staining.
