I have a 74 fj40 w/ 89k for sale in Ohio $1700 obo. The 40 is an early 74 so it has the original f motor and 3 speed on the floor. Everything is solid from the cowl up and the tub is in fair shape. The front doors are also solid but the normal rot has eatin the rear sill/barn doors and driver floor. Mechanically she is running strong and needs some minor work (brake MC, tune up, tires, etc). The truck was bought off a farm to be used as my younger brother's daily but being 17 he is eaisly distracted and has yet to begin work on her after owning the rig for 6 months. 1979 FJ 40 mostly stock condition. Body good for being from TN(rust capital of the world). Factory power steering, power disc brakes, new carb, new fuel pump, all new front brakes. Needs just a little more work to be a good driver, Im just tired of working on it. Factory paint, no body work has ever been done on this cruiser that I can see. The only rust is in the front floor in between the seat and the door. I do not have a title for this thing ( the guy I bought it off of couldn't find it and I can't get one without his help which he will not give me).I'd like to get about $3000 for this thing which I believe it is easily worth. I live in Mt. Jackson Va. I have a 1974 Fj 40 Landcruiser Its red with a black hard top I also have the soft top and rails to go with it but i have never had it on since i have the hard top. usual 3 speed tranny/ transfer, tranny growls, worn down 30"&31"tires, bikini top, seats are serviceable, with large jump seats in rear. Small block runs strong, with rochester Q-jet and outside the frame headers, new turbo mufflers, locking front hubs, all lights and directional's work, half doors, and seat belts. Asking $2650.00, and will throw in a full set of rear fender polished diamond plate at that price, or if someone wants the d-plate, $150.00 at my door.
