I did almost the same a couple of weeks back
But mine was the front bump stop

My kid changed the oil on the diesel 80 today, it never ceases to amaze me that even with 280,000 KM this thing doesn't use a drop of oil between oil changes

So frustrating. I knew it was a possibility and was going slow and dousing with PB as much as I could. Broke off anyway. Ugh.

Getting my rebuild harness adjusted and I found that one of the wires pulled out of a connector for one of the fuel injectors. I extended the wires so it is not in danger pulling the wire out again and got everything re-installed. Also, put the last coat of the clear coat on the valve cover. I don’t think it turned out too bad for a rattle can job and my first attempt at something like this. Last, I got the alternator and distributor back in as well.

Did you get the wire/terminal fully inserted this time? Because, in the picture it looks like it's backed out.

Yes. The issue was the wire pulled out of the pin since I did not solder it or get it super tight the first time around. This time I did not do the best job with the rubber seal but it is still seated. I pulled it out twice to verify before I called it good.

Also cleaned sunroof drains and installed some new speakers in the dash (already did the front and rear doors).

Fixing P0753. Gross. Decided to also change out transmission mount. Stripped a bolt removing. On hold till tomorrow. That’s what I get for thinking I’d finish up today!

it’s great fried in nuggets or marinated on skewers and grilled. There is very little fat so you have to cook it fast and not dry it out.

The original gutter trim was looking aged and it was bent in a couple places along with the black coating chipping off. New ones are really a nice improvement. The cost of the gutter trim isn't bad, but since it comes in a 8' box the shipping makes it $$$. I ordered them through the dealer and that helps a lot with the shipping cost.

I used Carpro Perl on all the black trim and paint between the windows to darken everything, reminds me I need to coat my roof rack next.

Just picked up a 1997 FZJ80. The black coating on my gutter trim along with the window seals / trim is chipping off. Do you recall the part number for the gutter trim with the black coating?
