So I’m wanting to pick up this plate and I went online today and they’re charging $550 for shipping from Colorado to Texas. This seems insane to me. I think I’m gonna call them tomorrow and see if there’s a better way. Especially since the skid plate weighs 43 pounds. The only thing I can think is that this war has diesel prices so high that truck drivers are getting killed right now at the pump.

I think their skids are palletized, so you may be seeing freight costs. The skids for my 200 were super bulky when I picked them up from what I recall.

Emailed SLEE and they promptly replied and acknowledged their website estimator was way off. Ordered! Can’t wait to see it installed which will be everytime I change the oil and that’s it. LOL.

Spent yesterday installing the new skid plate — I must say the quality is really exceptional. The powder coating, fit and finish are all really good. In the video I only describe one minor modification needed: grinding down a little powder coating around the oil access plate so it slides in easily. Install was straightforward enough, but made a lot harder without a lift. Hope this is helpful for someone!
