I am looking for a road worthy FJ40, FJ55, or FJ60 that I can use immediately. I am mostly interested in a trade if possible, I have a 93 Dodge Cummins Diesel that I was stripping down for a project that I don't have time for. I have the Dana 60 and 70, 205, Humvee Rims and Tires, and of course the Cummins Diesel.
Also I have a 69 FJ55 Pig that has everything but a tranny, transfer case, and hood.
I live in Cheyenne, WY and would be willing to travel to most of the surrounding states.

I had this cruiser about eight years and it's time to say good bye(new house new kids ect.)
the cruiser came from the southeast never exposed to salt or winter driving.has been garage kept.Old man Emu suspension,holley carb,onboard air,custom bumper/rack,soft top and doors,hard top,bikini top.
original engine and drivetrain,un-cut or altered body and frame,factory power steering,dealer installed A/C converted to onboard air system,tuffy console,Tuffy rear cargo box(I have the jump seats also)original winch with controls.nearly new bf goodrich 33x10.50 tires,alloy wheels.73000 original miles.

I am looking for a FJ40 for my husband for Christmas (hopefully). 10 years ago I stupidly made him sell his '74 Fj40 w/chevy 350 - I thought it was too expensive and annoying to keep in good working order. Anyway, I am wiser now (hence the username) and want to fix my mistake.
Here's my wishlist:
- Probably 90% street driving/10% off road
- V8 conversion
- hardtop
- jumpseats (we've got 2 rugrats now that will want to ride also)
-not lifted/diamond-plated/painted non-stock color - i.e. mostly stock except for the v8
-somewhere close to the $5,000 - 10,000 range
We are in Houston, so the closer the better. But I'd be willing to ship the truck, if I can find someone to inspect it for me.

Hi, I am new to this site. I got this fj last year in trade for my cj7. Its a 77 4speed.I do not have the time or means to fix up/restore this vehicle. I am putting all my extra money into my 85 sr5 shortbox 4x4.I just hate to see it sitting there. I don't know alot about it, it starts right up, runs smooth and even. Throwout bearing is noisy. Previous owner put on some real ugly shackle to clear the 33's. I've only drove it to the end of my driveway which is about a mile down and a mile back. Seemed to go ok. It is rusty. I believe it is mostly complete. There are no back seats. I plan on moving in the spring and would like to get rid of this as its to much to move on top of what I already am taking. I would be willing to take trades...

alright. haven't been on the website in a while, but have been looking for an fj40. if anyone knows where one might be somewhere where it hasn't snowed a lot that would be a huge help. can't have one that has been through a lot of snow or else when i get it back to georgia it'll rust completely out. also i'm trying to find a 75 or later model but i can't be picky.;p

Decent body with some repair needed to the floor pans at some point. Frame has minimal surface rust, some areas have been beefed up by prior owners. Newer 33" Mud Terrains with 85% + tread left.

This is a 1969 FJ40 my uncle has in his back yard that he is looking to get rid of I would love to make a buggy out of it but don't have the time or money right now and have 2 kids under the age of 2 so timing is wrong. So I told him I would post up if someone is interested. I don't think he is looking for much for it and the body and frame are in pretty good shape. There is a block but no head on the engine so it would be a perfect 8v swap.

Best looking fj40 I have ever seen. Wife is pulling the too many toys gig. She (fj) sleeps inside of our garage, and is lovingly driven around town. Only time she has seen water is during her monthly detailing. This is like choosing between one of your children.

1975 Toyota FJ40, Chevy 350 fuel injection (crate), Chevy SM 465 with the granny low 4-speed transmission, NP205 transfer case, reverse shackle and lift, 35" tires Detroit locker, power steering, winch bumper, air shocks, dual tanks, clean title, no rust, smog exempt, only 59,000 miles on chassis, 1000 miles on engine. Real nice truck, great rock crawler, too much to list. Very good shape for a 32 year old truck.
No hard top. There are a couple of relatively simple things that I have the parts for, but have not completed - not serious, no "surprises." Please call me and I'll give you all the details...
