Hello everyone,
Feeling out potentially selling my 40 to fund the purchase of another.
Has a SBC350 swap with the original 4 speed. Front disc brakes and Saginaw power steering. I recently rebuilt the knuckles, put on new tie rod ends, and a fresh set of Kenda Klevers. I have had it for just about 3 years, in which time I have installed a new distributor, redid the cooling system with a new radiator and a Taurus fan, put in a new flywheel, new starter, new alternator, valve springs and seals, installed the City Racer headlights, put in a new intake manifold gasket, and have generally gone about making her reliable and drivable. Overall it runs very well and starts up every time.
From a rust perspective it is very straight with very minimal rust. The driver's running board is rusted through, there is a rust spot in the support of the driver side rear wheel well, and the top has some rust spots where it meets the tub in back. Beyond that there isn't much rust to report as its been a desert car for at least half of its life. From an aesthetic perspective, you will notice where I have attempted to remove the white repaint that was done by the previous owner to get back to the original color. I have been attempting to do that in fits and starts and as you see it is mostly focused on the hood and front fenders with some spots around the back as well. The good news on that is the white that is on there is just the Krylon white so it can easily be taken back to all white, I haven't done that to avoid the potential of looking like I was covering something up. Additionally, at some point in its life a sunroof hole was cut into the top and bolts were drilled through it to install someone's idea of a roof rack.
Other things of note:
Thank you.

Other things of note:
- Front heater is currently not installed because the shifter was impacting it - I do have that and have straightened it out pretty well
- I have various other parts that I have taken off (including the tire carrier, jump seats, and original steering wheel)
- The engine is very strong but at start up when it is cold out it puts off quite a bit of smoke for ~2 minutes. This pretty much only occurs in the winter when it is very cold out and doesn't smoke beyond that
- It has a painless wiring harness installed which has its pros and cons. I haven't had any wiring issues really.
- The steering wheel isn't straight because I haven't adjusted the drag link after I did the tie rod ends
Thank you.
