going to sell or part out my complete running and driving 1975 Toyota land cruiser fj-40
it has a reBUILT 1984 2f motor with the tuned ceramic coated headers, Weber 38mil carb, (DUI) HEI ignition, factory power steering and more. (any thing & every thing has been done to this engine it is one built motor)
the stock steering box was replaced with one off of a power steering"79
the stock 4spd transmission was replaced with a Japanese fire truck 4spd
the stock 4spd transfer case was replaced with a 3spd case along with the low range gear set.
the f/r axles are set up with 488.1 gears.
front axle has a lock right locker
disc brakes f/r.
i cant remember for sure but i think it even has longfeld axles installed in the front...

1973 FJ40 ALL ORIGINAL 95K PTO PROJECT. I am the 3rd owner accorrding to the 2nd owner, 2nd owner put a 75 manifold on it but other then that was not messed with. He owned if for over 25 yrs. First owner ran it to alaska and back and where all the miles come from.
Full Factory PTO winch, used only handfull of times 2nd owner said 3 times he used it. Sat under a custom made cover for the last 25 yrs.
Needs restored, RUNS i had it running just last yr. Clutch is out, which is why the 2nd owner quit...
I have decided to get out of the buggy world. It is just too far to travel from Mississippi to wheel trails that challenge this buggy. I am going to downsize to something with 37's or 35's and a body enjoy some new trails in the Southeast.

Chassis is designed with adjustable seats and will accommodate drivers from 5' to 6' 5". It is wide and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 small people in the rear up to 100# or so. I am 5' 8" and I can sit back there easily, but I would not want to be on rough trails back there...

Coming into town today I saw this and stopped to take a look. As posted it is not mine and I have provided a picture with owner info.
They are wanting $9,500 for it has 20 gal rear tank. 4:10's with rear arb locker. York compressor for air, Vintage AC unit, Power steering, milemarker hydraulic winch, painless wiring aprox 15,000 miles on the original 6 cyl. gm HO alternator and GM HEI ignition drive shafts were built up Las Vegas plus it has what he is calling a non usa spec manual 4speed transmission. Call them for more information.

Not bad on rust issues. 1972 FJ40. Nice original green color with white top. Sounds like he has lots of original parts when taken out for newer stuff like seats. Has a bikini top to go with hard top.
He only wants $5000. Not sure on mileage. He read me out six numbers (413425) but I thought they only went to 99999 before flipping.

I have a 1974 parts truck that I sold months ago and the buyer keeps telling me hes coming to get it and he never does. I have two other cruisers and I need this one to go. It comes with extra parts as well. The rails on the tub are in great shape. If you rails on your tub have some rot spots you, could cut and weld pieces of this one in. The quater panels have some good sheet metal as well that could be used to repair your cruiser. The frame is in ok shape and would need repair. The hood is in ok shape and will need some sandblasting and paint. The front and rear floors are in rough shape. The windshield frame and glass are in ok shape. 1982 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40
this 1977 fj40 landcruiser has been built from the ground up with no expenses spared. I will try and list all the things that have been done over the years to this vehicle but the pictures will tell the rest. A friend of mine started this restoration back in the late 80's - early 90's. During this time it was taken down to the frame and everything put back was new.
the engine is a stroked 454 big block chevy which makes it a 468 cubic inch. It was built by auto sports center, a well known and respected speed shop here in little rock, arkansas. It was balanced and blueprinted, all new engine internals including cam and roller rockers, 850 holly, weiman intake, msd ignition, custom headers, lots of chrome. It runs and sounds even meaner...
