Hola, ya’ll. I’m Shawn. I hope this is ok to do here: I need some advice on this beauty I picked up recently here in Venezuela. She will be on a boat soon, to the US, and offered for sale with legal title, probably in Florida. Basically I’m putting out feelers to see the current value. I am originally from Athens, GA and have been living in Venezuela for the last few years. When I left there were none in the US due to the age restrictions, so I have never even seen one there. Any advice is appreciated. 1990 FJ70 LandCruiser LX model - Left Hand Drive – 3F Motor – 135,xxx kilometers 84,xxx miles I purchased this FJ from a gentleman who held the title for his boss who left the country, so technically a two owner vehicle...
*Further Update* After taking into consideration the additional mileage on this vehicle I am lowering the asking price to $22,995. Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns you may have about the truck.* *Update* I’d like to give a big thanks to Steve Jackson for helping me to compile some more information about my truck and making sure all of my details were correct. As it turns out, the dealership I bought it from was aware the vehicle had been in a wreck and the odometer had been rolled back 100,000 km (making the total 214,830 km) but failed to disclose this information at the time of the sale. Regardless, any damage done appears to have either been minor (can you even damage a 70 series?), or fixed immaculately as...

Well I guess it's finally time I put this little beast up for sale. I have had this car for 4 years now restoring it to its current condition. It's been a fun project but I don't have the time anymore to use it anymore. The only thing I still wanted to do was rebuild the engine with the intention of install a turbo. It currently has 327000km on the clock and at its heart is the little 3B engine. It won't get you anywhere fast but its an absolute weapon in the bush. It's currently using around 11.5-12L/100km. General maintenance done every 10,000km. I have just about finished the work for the RWC, I am just waiting on a new set of tires to arrive and then it will be ready. So the list of things that have been completed; 2.5" custom...

To whom it may concern, I am in the market to buy a Land Cruiser Troop Carrier. I would like to find one with less than 300,000 kilometers, left hand drive (not a requirement), low rust, fairly straight body, and jump seats in the back (also, not a requirement). I am not interested in any petrol models, something that requires extensive body work, or major rust management. Please message me with any leads of vehicles stateside or abroad. Thanks a ton!
It is with great sorrow that I have to put my baby up for sale. I have a right hand drive 1990 PZJ70 LX that I unfortunately can’t hold onto anymore due to a new job. The rig is in beautiful shape as the pictures show and only has 114,830 km or 67,547 miles, although this number will continue to grow slightly since I love driving the thing. This truck has been well taken care of, it has no rust and everything on it works as it should. I have all the import papers as well as all the maintenance records. The PZJ70 was only made from 1990-94 and the 1PZ 5cyl diesel is the only 5cyl diesel put in any Land Cruiser. This engine being the precursor to the 1HZ, many engine parts are interchangeable and are still in production. This model...
This is a 1992 Long chassis troop carrier commonly referred to as a Troopy. It is the truck of choice on Safari in Africa and the outback of Australia if you watch any TV at all. This particular truck comes equipped with the inline 6 (3F) 4.2L, gas engine and 5 speed transmission. Has fairly new (90%) tires and alum wheels. Interior is in very good condition as is the engine. I drove it four hours from Miami with no issues. There is no visible rust on the chassis or body, Has new shock absorbers all around, new master cylinder, new brake drums and wheel cylinders. The roof tent is included in the sale. Here are the flaws/Issues: Body work/paint is poor at best. Some gauges not working, No Air now but originally equipped with AC...
One of my customers is a car dealership and they know I'm interested in old Toyotas. Im wondering what this sucker is worth. Someone traded it in for a new pickup over the weekend and they are not sure what to do with it. I know nothing about it other than I drove it and I desperately want it! New Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. Everything seemed to work. It runs and drives great! Super solid. It looks like it was originally a silver truck as seen along the edges of the engine compartment, but the door jambs and everything else look good. What do you guys think it is worth? 350k Kilometers Left Hand Drive
