This 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ73 was imported from Japan to the US in February 2020 by Uncommon Motor Cars. This right-hand-drive example boasts a Slate Blue (color code 183) exterior paired with a removable silver FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) hardtop.
The Land Cruiser 70 Series is powered by a TURBOCHARGED 4.2L 1HZ diesel inline-six engine, complemented by a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, with locking front, center, and rear differentials, ensuring it can conquer any terrain. While the factory engine was naturally aspirated, we felt this example deserved some added power and decided to turbocharge it with all Toyota parts. In turbocharging the engine we used: Toyota CT26 turbo assembly, Toyota...

Brought in from Australia 5-6 years ago and slowly built out as my personal and shop show truck. I have loved building it and camping in it, but I just bought my first house so priorities have changed. No corners were cut on this one - everything was replaced with OEM or upgraded parts with the highest grade of labor to show off what our shop can do.
While it is a high price, I am into it well over that in parts alone. This is an amazing turn key troopy with everything you could want. Selling it for what I'm into it parts alone.
VEHICLE SPECS:
-Fresh repaint...
I unfortunately have to sell my truck. We're doing an addition to our house and the funds are needed there. Long story short, the timing belt blew and the truck needs some amount of work. I don't know exactly as I haven't fully investigated with a mechanic. As I understand, after speaking with Georg, Onur and a few other places I'm looking at anywhere between $10k and $25k for the repairs. I just don't have that money at the moment. SO, here I am.
The hook! It's a Cali registered truck. I just renewed for the year through to Sept. 2024. That's right, a RHD 1HZ with CA plates. I've seen lots of people asking about registaring a diesel truck here in CA. and heres one. About once a week someone would ask me if I was selling the truck and...
Running, Driving, Ready to use LHD Project Troopy. I titled it as a project because there are plenty of areas that it could use more love, but in its current state can be used. Shows approximately 271K KM's and has factory lockers. Has the 1HZ diesel engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Was repainted in Europe and not the best job, but presentable. It's a great starting point for someone to take this Troopy to the next level without having to break the bank to own one. This truck has a 24 volt electrical system. Free and clear OR title. Items that have been addressed since it was imported:
-Rebuilt Injection Pump
-All new clutch hydraulics
-Rebuilt front knuckles
-Brakes serviced and new soft lines added
-All fluids...

Hello IH8MUD.
I’m selling my LHD 1994 Troopy that I had imported by a friend and bought in 2019 from an auction from the Turkish government, where they probably bought it from Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings. Time’s have changed and I’m in need of a 4 door Land Cruiser to support starting a family (that will also fit in my new house’s lower garage), and as much as I want to keep it, I’m now listing it for sale.
It spent a tougher life in Turkey, and...

1996 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, 85000 miles, $13000
Very solid vehicle and still looks great from outside. Undercarriage: frame and body well above average in terms of rust and corrosion - it is close to none.
Motor/drivetrain have no noticeable issues. Engine still shows impressive torque, produces no smoke and no oil leak. Transmission shifts up and down smooth on demand.
Front and rear suspension both feel solid and have no any abnormal sounds.
No any electrical equipment issues (all checked and found operational).
Tires still have plenty of thread.
Vehicle has no critical problems preventing it from being drivable and can be a lucky find for any DIY car enthusiast looking for fun while working on old school Toyota...
This 1995 Land Cruiser KZJ78 is for sale in Niceville, FL. It is a RHD, JDM example. This is the toughest looking 70 series we can remember seeing, thanks to the lift and 37″ beadlock tires! See the build details below. Add a snorkel, the bumpers and the diamond plate and this thing looks like it’s ready for a starring role in Mad Max. It may not be for everyone, but this is a unique and special truck that you simply do not see in the United States very often. You’ll absolutely be the only one at your local beach, campground, or off road trail. Please let us know if you have any questions about this truck. More pics at the link above.

I have a 1994 Toyota landcruiser Hzj75 that I am putting up for sale. I have owned many landcruisers and this by far is the best of them all. As with all of my vehicles, I am very meticulous about maintenance and keeping it in original stock condition. This vehicle is out of Australia and purchased from Ottoex in Portland. I have spend the greater part of tw years replacing anything that needed cosmetic refreshing with original Toyota parts. 44000 mile 5 speed 11 seater. Original paint no repairs or rust issues. This vehicle was obviously stored inside and is still maintained in that manner.

This HZJ78 is a unicorn. An exceptional car in a superb technical and optical state. With the original 6 cilinder 1HZ diesel, a turbo and a 5-speed manual gearbox. This car was my project during the pandemic. Building and changing it for two years while taking it on short and long travels to test the complete setup. I had and still have a lot of fun with this Troopy, but I'm thinking about starting a new project. So I'm contemplating to sell this beauty.
The list of modifications to campervan is long. I'm happy to discuss it with serious buyers. More pictures on requests, video footage and live video calls also possible. Nothing to hide here. This car is extremely rare and an extremely well maintained and built Troopy. Full history...

Hello IH8mud members.
I am considering putting my 1990 LJ73 the famous Bundera for sale. I have owned this for 8 years and have always been giving it my tender loving care.
