The orogional FJ55 mirrors are a little small for a daily driver.
Found these from FJCruiser, would give me power adjust, maybe heated and they are Toyota.

Thoughts anyone would this be wrong?

Morally wrong? No.

Aesthetically wrong? Yes....

Agree with you that original mirrors are small and moreover nearly useless for a daily driver. I've seen other after market mirrors that weren't power adjustable but larger, more functional and better looking but I've never considered the FJ55 to bemuch of a daily driver either.

It's your ride so do what you want/need to. Like most modifications, once you do it, you're stuck with it.

Wrong? Yep. mucho.

Not my personal taste but I would stop short of calling them wrong, I’ve seen far worse things bolted to a pig. If you like the look I say go for it!

If you’re looking for a stock appearing that improves your vision I used NAPA Part #: LIT 97819 Convex / Spot Mirror Head on a factory arm. Big improvement over the factory mirrors.

I vote 62 mirrors. They are bigger and almost period looking.

If you want a bigger mirror I’d at least try to stay period look...there were some mirrors of an early pickup somewhere that I thought carried the theme

And as has been mentioned, it’s your deal so take other ramblings as just that...

Love the sticker!

I can’t disagree with any of the responses. I found the FJC mirrors for $20 on Craigs List thought they might be cool. Until I set them up there. The transformation was flipping amazing. It took a beautiful 55 and turned it into a really weird looking FJ :barefoot:
Here is is what was on it, much better. Think I will stay with these or go with the stock mirrors, keep the look I have loved and wanted for 50 years. I still have plenty to do while I decide.
Let me know where to ship the FJC mirrors:D.

:moon::poop::flush:. NASTY :rofl: :pig:.

I agree Bob. You probably couldn’t see past the mirrors to see that your 1st fender patch in.
Making progress actually starting to go back together...... after only a year. Most of the structural done.
Thanks for the opinion and your help getting me this far along.

There are zero blind spots in a Pig.

Good way to camouflage the pig to keep it from being stolen. No one would recognize her. They sure would be lookin at them mighty fine mirrors though.

good decision. i can understand the desire for the modern functionality, but stock just looks so much better with the vintage pig. I just picked some up from @SLOCRUISER a few months ago, might have bought his last set though.
