Aight. Looking at the location of my leak I’m going to relax my mounts a bit so it can move back 1/16” or so. Also you can see the deep shoulder on the exhaust studs. Maybe I ran out of thread. Going back on with come high temp goop and washers.

Another thing. This truck had a pretty good driver front lean. About 3/4”. I decided to pull a passenger rear leaf and see how that works. Without driving it it looks to have fixed it. I’ll report back on that.

Chad and his family stopped by this am and inspected the project. Right after they left my buddy asked if I could help him move “a couple of things”

We filled this stupid trailer with the heaviest s*** ever.

Got back. Swapped the DUI in and took it out to burn the brakes in and see how it ran.

Very pleased.

Also I added some White knuckle sliders.

The truck is sitting dead nuts level all around with that right rear leaf pulled too

New tire company you are playing with? -- The Kenda's?

Or customer choice?

They are the only 33x9.50-15 available. If the customer wants skinny’s and OEM wheels it’s a great choice. Nice and round and quiet. I’ve got 4 sets out there and everyone seems to like them

My guy at Auto Zone told me they were no longer selling 20/50 Valvoline with Zinc. Slow seller. Hope Oreilley will still sell it. A bottle of Lucas zinc is $30. Nuts.

I scored a skid plate for this thing and had PowderKeg clean it up for me.

I gave the sun baked hood, upper fenders, decal and roof a light rub of Fluid Film. I think it’s the way to go with this now that it’s been polished. It will likely evaporate pretty quick.

I did some reading on the compressor locking up and they will do that without oil, but the Denso comes pre-oiled. I will tip it over when I remove it and see what comes out.

I spent the afternoon driving and tuning on the ole Woodrow wagon. I think it’s about as good as you can get. I have the timing at 13* and it was giving me a slight diesel when I turned it off. I backed it down to 11 and the diesel went away but I lost a little performance.

I ran the tank down to 3 gallons and filled it with 93 test then bumped the timing back to 13* and it feels perfect now.

Cruiser Corps came through in a pinch to get me the windshield before Christmas. I have an appointment Tuesday am to have it installed.

If I can get this ac compressor by Wednesday, my AC guy offered to heat up his shop for a charge on Thursday or Friday. Hope to get this one back to Chad for the new year.

The compressor had oil in it when I removed it so I got no idea why it froze up last week.

It’s only 50* here so my guys were kind enough to heat up the shop to get the new charge on.

Sun setting in 2023 and my last major project of the year. Looking forward to 2024

Got up and made the drive to Tupelo for the delivery

Hit the Neon Pig exactly 30 days after I picked up Woodrow.

Love sitting at the bar and watching a good flat top man work

Who can pick out the 3 Land Cruiser stickers?

I saw the TEQ one and the hub one. The year one took me longer.

Been way too long, I need a trip to the Pig.

Woodrow is back!

A few posts up I talked about the exhaust down pipe leak. Well, it came back so it’s here getting headers.

Also, I took the condenser off and took it to my radiator shop today to have it cleaned out for, hopefully a successful AC charge
