Sliders went on nice and easy. White Knuckke for the win. Powder Keg puts a nice texture on them for me to be a nice no slip step surface.

The bumper bolts kicked my Ass. I had to cut them all off.

Crusty but no cancer.

Storms yesterday knocked out my power so I was not able to get anything done on the 60 but today has been very productive.

I got the bumper on and the Gamavitti roof rack.

Both are such amazingly high quality products and look fantastic.

I'm heading out of town for *gulp* 2 weeks starting on Saturday so I'm trying to get this thing stripped and the parts off to Powder Keg to get done while I'm gone. He wants it to look pretty under here. Also, I'm going to delete the rear heater as most of those hoses are still original and surely a time bomb.

@dnp the drivers fender was packed full of pine straw. I'm glad to know the story as to why.

Perfect, you can test my rear heater delete kit.

Well it looks like we may be sold out for a bit :/

Finished taking off all of the parts I needed to get to powder tomorrow and I yanked it out and drained the mostly water coolant. The best way to get in there and get the hoses and belts is to just pull the radiator out so ill do that tomorrow.

One more 1/2 day on this thing before I head out of town. I'll try to get all of the old hoses out tomorrow afternoon.

You keep hinting about an interesting story in this one’s past. If you get bored on your trip and can’t sleep like me right now you should share it. Cool truck. Might as well keep the dents, the paint is only original once and when they are perfect it can be harder to enjoy using them.

I think DNP gave the best background on it that I know earlier. Pinestraw farmer with a bad neck.

I'm back. 5 days in the AZ desert. 5 days in Scottsdale with my family. 2 days to go to Houston to pick up 70s....

Boxes everywhere.

Powder was ready as were the parts from Toyota of Brookhaven

Ready to get this thing finished this week and then I can get back on the Saudi 84 fj40.

Alright. Great progress today. All of the hoses are now in place and the fan and shroud are back on.

I need to adjust the valves in the morning so I can keep building this thing back.

Back in it.

Battery in with a set of HD battery cables and terminals. Cleaned up some wires along the way.

Added Holley Retrobrite headlights. Yall know I use Koito H4s a lot but these really are super brite without blinding others.

Also I added new lenses in the corners and tapped in the ARB bumper lights.

Got a new over flow "jar" as well.

What temp did you go with on the retrobrights? I’m conflicted on what I should put on mine
