Anyone know the thread size for the center arm lower nut? Why do I ask you wonder? Well, managed to cross thread it as I was cranking it down for the final install. Should've been a nice simple job. Ugh. @cruiseroutfit any thoughts? Thanks!

Definitely a 1.50 pitch. Thinking 16x1.50

Lol

What did the die end up costing? I'm assuming less than another Center Arm kit?

It was only $12+$7 shipping so not bad. Hopefully I can make it work. Otherwise if I get a second one I could've bought an OEM one just about... :(

@cruiseroutfit you have any thoughts on the direction of the bottom seal?

As far as orientation?

I've seen it both ways but I've always installed it normal as it's easier to tap into place.

Yup orientation - I guess in this instance it isn't holding back a liquid so probably doesn't really matter. It was easy to install either way.

Success! Man that took a lot more work than anticipated but seems like they always do with me. Am I brave enough to try replacing the rag joint and drag link now?

Of course you are - you're a Mudder

You didn't remove it, blast it, and paint it? I'm a bit let down...

I know I'm a a slacker! I'm probably going to hit it up with POR15 - plan on doing that to the rod coming off of it.

Okay rag joint is swapped too! Not a bad job - hardest part was figuring out how to hold the nuts/bolts of the steering column on the opposite side of the firewall. Once I got that figured out it was a pretty reasonable project.

Went out and test drove it and the steering is noticeably tighter. Between new rag joint, rebuilt drag link, rebuilt center arm, new tre's, new steering stabilizer, and correct alignment this thing tracks pretty darn nicely! Super bowl time! Go Falcons!

Old rag joint:

New OEM rag joint vs old one:

New one installed!
