Ugh... that 40 and Barn... great photo man...

I really wanted to get no road showing in the photo but that would've required me getting on their property and that might have been odd... also some of the modern buildings weren't ideal - I probably could've angled things right to get them out of view.

Nah, Photoshop!

Some pshop fun... :)

Stop it man! All fun and games for you posting this stuff right before you go to bed... but I'm in the middle of my workday over here and such pornographic material makes it hard to concentrate!

 X2

Photoshop - yeah! You're welcome!

This gives me some great ideas... did you really use photoshop or just some simpler filter app?

I have an app on my iPhone call "ToonCamera" - that did the initial filtering of the photo and then I used photoshop to get rid of all the modern buildings in the photo. Use the highest quality photo you can if you plan on blowing them up. The app reduces the size some.

Have not seen the giant orb for some time now so have put some projects on hold. But was able to sneak in a little work on the rear hatch which has been sitting idle now for quite some time.

Guess I warped the metal some when I patched up the four holes so required a little more mud that I expected. But it is nice and flat now. Not like it is a 1/4" or even 1/8" just had to cover more area. Did my first "tin knocking" and that actually helped push up the warped section some. Pretty cool!

Primed! Final coat TBD. Will hit up the rust treated areas also so I can put the window back in.

cat went straight to the nice hot hood

Mike, I'm gonna' pass on the obvious segue ref the "cat" being attracted to a "40".....

Got my artwork hung up at the office - my coworkers were impressed! I said I can make more and sign them and charge them $100 if they were interested lol. Crickets.

While this carb is slightly different (cable vs. mechanical linkage), the cable stop for the choke cable appears in the same location. So now just need to figure out how to secure to the point indicated in green. This should not be that difficult... :bang:

Mike in post 695 there are two areas circled in green. The lower green plcture I have in order to secure the choke cable but in the upper green circle I don't have the set screw to run the end of the cable through. Any suggestions on what to do or maybe rig something up? All of the carburetors that I have looked at don't have the set/barrel screw. I've got my carburetor on and all set to go except for this one issue. Anyone else have a suggestion? Thanks Steve

You need something like this (you just need to drill a hole through it): McMaster-Carr (1/4" diameter)

Or $or sells them - Page 042 Land Cruiser Accellerator Linkage & Choke Cables
