Interested. I would think a 3d print could be made for 20 bucks a set. Not sure what an envelope from AUS costs to ship. I think the @thecrazygreek might have already printed them. He may want to sell or at least pass on the file to allow it to be printed.

Question about reasonable price: Considering that these are not essential to operate the motors, that they are a simple rubberized/plastic construction attached by a single screw, that homemade alternatives can suffice if desired, it's easy to see why an expensive reproduction isn't being made. Someone re-making these deserves to be compensated for their time and investment and the gamble on the actual demand. A small profit for taking on the project is only fair, but gouging enthusiasts should not be the goal. Small, lightweight, and fairly flexible should keep shipping cost and breakage down.

Without knowing the manner of reconstruction--printing, molding, casting, home-workshop or outsourced manufacturing-- and not seeing the actual result, I would guess most of us could live with a 10 USD each price for a good looking copy. Beyond that, the number of customers would probably drop off to the point where reproduction is simply not economically feasible.

I would not want to see anyone invest a lot of time or money into a dead-end project, so hearing more about potential ways of constructing these and the start-up costs involved, should be the next step to give a better idea of the final price. Improvements in materials and construction in the sixty years since these were originally made, might create a longer-lasting product that owners might choose to replace. The marketplace first here on Mud, and then perhaps Ebay, could draw-out potential customers.

Anyway, just my personal thoughts. I appreciate the discussion about this and hope others join in with their ideas, suggestions, and concerns. Thank-you Andy for suggesting this.

I believe @thecrazygreek has made these before actually. Maybe he still has the design and can just print some? EDIT I see someone already mentioned this. Can’t hurt to double tag him though ;)

my experience with 3D printing is limited but seems like I’ve had to pay like $50-60 per part for little pieces like this, but I have only ever used one shop so I don’t have a lot to go on. If you had your own 3D printer I’m sure it’s less than half that. Betting most of the expense I’ve paid is markup and the guy’s time.

and I would be interested in a few pairs if price is below maybe $50 per pair.

Thanks for the feedback/opinion.
I'm planning on doing these as close as possible to Original.
I understand Wiper Motors can function without the Covers but my intent is to provide an option for enthusiasts like myself that want the look to be Factory or close to it.
As I did with the Bug Catcher Weather Seals and Thermostat Housings.
The plan is to make a copy from Thermoplastic Polyurethane.
I understand it's a mix of Rubber and Plastic that should provide the flexibility of Rubber while being resistant to Oils and Chemically inert.
We'll see how it goes?
I have time on my hands , given the current situation! Business closed!
I'll keep you posted.

Interested in wiper terminal covers! :) Thanks for the effort!
