Bullfrog Trail Again

I camped in Johnson Valley this weekend to see "The Hammers" and run some trails in Cougar Buttes. I found a fun section on Bullfrog marked "Extra Credit". Quite a challenge for an 80. These pix are when we were leaving to camp and reversed the trail, definitely harder this direction. Enjoy!

here's a couple my buddy larry took from our run up hells, one heading up escalator and going into car wash. no pics of me on hells gate with my camera, but woody's got a bunch in the gallery

In the top pic it looks like there is a winch line connected to the guy in the blue shirt's .... Crotch , and he looks like he likes it

Nice one!
Did I see you on Kane Creek on Saturday (during CM)? There was a group of three 80's with Utah plates that caught up to us on the climb out - just about the time my rear locker decided to take the rest of the day off.....

lol...no winch line...that's my cb antenna, and you're right, it is pointing pretty much right at mark from metaltechs crotch;)

Nope, not me. There were more than a few Utah 80s cruisin around. Hope Kane Creek was fun.

OH man to have dry rocks and traction for a change..............got to make CM one day.

this sides a bit different, sometimes there is a line but there is no guarantee you'll be able to stick to the one you want.

You don't have to take bad lines with 37's.

37s would have helped, but that is still the only line (back then, they have since bulldozed most of Tellico). The Cado as it sits today would have walked up where I broke back then, no question.

The left is a ~5-6 foot ledge to the top of that rock.
