Thought it might be a nice memorial to post a couple of Racerdave's 80 from back in the day (before it was racerdave's 80). RIP now dented and lowly black 80:crybaby:

Boy, I was about to claim that looked staged with tricky camera angle, then I noticed the people, who I assume are standing upright - impressive...

that makes me wonder if anyone has actually tipped the front end back over going up an obstacle in an 80?

that particular obstacle isn't as crazy as a lot out there but it sure makes you nervous because just below (on the left) of where those two people are standing is a long drop. This is on Steelbender in Moab. Normally the trail is run in the other direction where you're going down that ledge rather than up. Either way it can be nerve wracking.

Those are great pics Adam.

The intensity of the geological formations out west really makes for an incredible backdrop to seeing Cruisers do their work....

Glad you are back on the forum....

Scary one dude .. !

Actually as anyone that has been to Moab knows (particularly on the Poison Spider trail) that obstacle is very safe and is a good one for show as it's easy to get a wheel in the air without risking damage. Makes for a good picture spot though.:bounce:

seems like one could -apparently- easily bash in the rear quarter panel on that rock if the truck rears up and goes sideways a bit...

Have you been on Poison Spider? Your tire is firmly wedged in the bottom of that crease, it's not sliding anywhere.

This is true, which is why it's rare to take out your corner. However, I think you should try it and post pics if you do in fact hit your corner.;)

mate getting a photo under my truck (making fun of my mishap)

The sad thing is I rolled this very same truck (well put it on it's side) about 20' around the corner 8 months back.
