my big excitement was the new led bulb for the 40 domelight....still need to source a new lens cover though, the old one has a crumbling hole in the middle of it from the AZ dryness/heat.

Sand blasted tire carrier hinges, tire carrier mount, & door. Started priming. Also made a gasket kit for the carrier for every Bolt on piece.

Saturday / Sunday - cleaned up and painted cheap wheels, installed vacuum gauge.
Monday - got new tires, painted passenger door and rocker, broke out all the bolts holding the step on the passenger side (every one rusted tight). Installed OEM lower window sill felts, aftermarket upper felt track. No more rattles on that window. Tire pic below was before all the painting.

Tooooooooooooo much to put into here you will have to check out my thread "YARD FIND"

Welded my new gutter together. Let's say it's another ccot part that isn't as advertised but play the game of grind and weld it fit together nicely with alot of fitting on the truck. Still gotta drill it and rivet the two together. But it's coming along.

Ran it up the hill today for the first time... I like the look but still have lots of little things to do.

Did a road trip yesterday to pick up an old used portable band saw - Milwaukee 6230N variable speed , no less . Ran into some interesting sights , including a seriously outfitted/lifted Taco - with two young guys nearly causing a wreck giving me grins and thumbs up....lol . Found this odd oriental shrine in the middle of nowhere , just southeast of Rockford , Illinois -

The nice gentleman that gave permission for pics said the monks built it - took 4 years and all done by hand in stone/concrete . Detail in this structure is amazing - he also liked the old 40....lol .

Managed to break off rear upper shock stud. This was after having hell with the cotter pins all the way around.
