Rolled my newly aquired 76' into its new home. Purchased 2 days ago for $500.
Will the eagle remain on the grill? Looks kinda cool!!!
That was the first thing I thought when I saw that. If I had a V8 build, that bird would be there.

I installed 2 after market gauges, on my way to a new gauge cluster.
Ordered some gas struts for my rear hatch. The time has come.
Maybe display the eagle in the garage!

Chased down Problem in Electrical for Gauges and lights, after disassembling the gauge cluster and frying several wires, discover its in the switch. Rewire fried wires, reinstall cluster, adding LED bulbs for the white lights (blue& green on the way)
Wired up 2 bumper lights on relay circuit (not to bad)
Kids wanted to help so they wiped a couple months of dust of the interior.
Fixed Switch headlights ran great... For 24 hours... then they shut off again. Traced it to the Fuse being corroded and the clamp loose. some plies and sandpaper later all working again.
Sewing up a proto type, not quite color matched Steering wheel cover out of scrap leather I had laying around, and installed. (hint leather is 1" smaller in radius and about 1/8" in width than wheel measurements.)

Loaded it up with a cooler full of cold beer and ice and sum chicken wings, grabbed the dog and sum sun screen and headed to the river to get things back into perspective.
