69 40 Project

Wow nice rig! Looking ready for the trail.I have only just washed mine,put in my red top optima and could not get it started.Cleaned up main grounds,Maybe timing is off.been sitting all winter,just took the tarps off and now it's raining! Poured a little gas down the carb.it almost starts.
I will post up a current pic.lots of work to do still to get it on the road.

But never to late. OME 2 1/2 lift, 33 MK2 and bought a Confer Rack for 150 bux. Took the rack to work, welded expanded metal to the bottom and professionally bedlined it for about 60 bux. Purchased a few lights and here she is.

Installed new front seats 2nd hand Honda, Installed folding rear seat 2nd hand Mini Pajero, minor body work and cleaned the spark plugs. Installed roof rack lights

Thanks for the reply but its not a bullbar, its part of the brushguard just bedlined the crap out of it. Beefed up the front of it by replacing with thicker solid bars.

Nice rig. I have the same brush guard and had the same rack. It wouldn't fit in the garage so I took a sawsall to it and basically made the rack 2.5" tall, still functional but lower.

Pancho, Yea, that is the brush guard from S.O.R. About two days ago" Folkert " (Mud name) posted an enquiry about interest in reproducing them.

I did a engine transplant, six out and a 434 CI small block in with a JT outfitters Power Steering change over. and a new Chevrolet bowtie on the grill.. This FJ is a speeding bulit now...
