Had the radiator pressure tested, they fixed a small leak, but the bad news came for both the front and rear heater cores. Front needs replaced as it leaks and cannot be repaired. The rear was by-passed by the PO, he sayed the kids in back didn't like getting hosed by scalding fluid anymore. It is shot... any sources on that rear one would be great!!

I started....:wrench::hillbilly:

Took it for a 240 mile road trip this weekend - approx 60 miles of that off-road. Beautiful country and the cruiser performed perfectly. What a great time!

It was sunny and 80 degrees when we left on Friday but we hit a snow storm on the way home Sunday. I'm really glad that I decided not to take the hard top off at the last minute!

Did somebody fart at 0:21 sec?

lol, that would've been funny

That was me fumbling to shut off the camera and drive at the same time. Good thing I wasn't chewing gum too....could've have been a disaster.

I put my phone in the same place on my dash and use an app to check my speed. works great, nice video.

Started fabing up the bracing structure for rear in prep to cut the rotten floor out and restore it.

I found a lot more soft spots on the body and than I expected. Also determined that the bumper is completely toast and will need to be completely replaced right back to the rear shackle perches.

Had lots of fun though.

Replaced a wheel bearing and bought a rear bumper/tire carrier from Dirtworx.

Ordered quarter panels and outside rocker panels from CCOT.....might as well take care of it now while it's apart. Right???

Odometer Repair

I fixed my odometer. Thanks to Baas and his thread with terrific pictures I finally got it right. I have to admit it took me several tries, but it works now and with the help of baas' thread it would have been done the first time if I had found his thread first.

Check it out if your odometer is not working:):):):)

Best Ever

I washed her up, then loaded her up, and headed out into the bush for three days of snow wheeling. One of those days turned out to be the best day of wheeling ever. Well this was last week, but I finally got around to posting it.

I got my 4WD indicator to light up (it was a bad ground). For the first time since I've owned the cruiser, ALL of the electrical is working!

Damn Huroneymoose- Got Fender?

I think your rears are as big as my stock fronts.

Pete

They are big, you are right there. I still need to extend them with some rubber to cover the tires completely.
