Finally got mine to start.

Installed new CCOT tie rod ends, ordered new DCC fan controler to get ready for Tarus fan conversion, installed new MC and new disc pads, and test drove to see what its like to actually have breaks that work! Played nine holes and got some sun from my garage tan.

Finally got mine to start.

Good ol' 'F' motor. Just like a Timex watch, takes a licken' and keeps on ticken'. Good start, now just needs some carb work to keep it running!

Finished all metal work on my 68' tub last week, so went to clean up fenders to get ready for raptor liner and found 1/2 of bondo on them. AHHHHHHHHHHH!

Ground it off and started beating on fender. Really wasn't too bad, I think it was a bondo happy repairman.

How does this dance go... oh yeah, One step forward two steps back.

Got about 95% of the wiring done on my soon-to-be 3FE powered FJ40. Got a relay wired up for the starter and incorporated a check engine light into my factory gauge cluster.

Love the Progress, the plate looks phenomenal! I personally like the Amber style lenses... but it's your rig and you have done great work getting it to this stage, so I trust you to make the right call...

I like the amber, seems better for blinkers and only a few real hardcore people would not know they should be white for that year.

Got everything welded up on the cruiser and got the 7.5' Western Pro Plow mounted and pushing snow.

Over the last month, reinstalled my engine after it took a christmas vacation....loaned out my engine hoist to another cruiser owner for his engine swap. Wrapped my header with header wrap and welded on a flex connector. Transplanted Auqalu tailgate and finished installing soft top (both from Rascal) onto my 76. Striped down PTO winch, ground off paint and grease and painted, ready for new blue winch rope. Made progress on reconnecting everything on the engine, bought plasma cutter and started cutting front spring hangers off for a shackle reversal....hopefully finish reversal and hook up exhaust this weekend.
