took my 7:00 x 15 bias-belted GOOD YEAR workhorse tires off, they were getting worn really bad, took the TOYOTA factory rims ( fj60 style), sanded, sanded some more, and primed, and painted with dupli-color brand paint in WIMBLEDON white paint ( kinda off white) and i put a set of 31 x 10.50 tires on it,man does it drive better with radial tires, and they ROAR............which mean they will pull in this "Red Gawja Clay:D:D:D:D:D

Wimbeldon white is the factory color of the white hard tops on early to late 60's full size Fords! It's a really nice color. I'm tempted to do my top in that color just for memories.

thanks, now i remember that color....i think the color looks good on the wheels.....kind "off white"

Got the doors all broke down, so hopefully I can get the doors, bib, fenders, tailgate and soft top bows to blast & paint this week:grinpimp:

The homegrown radiator drain (courtesy of PO) gave way (no wonder) while I was plowing snow. Check this beast out:

Ordered a new 4 core heavy duty radiator from Radiators, automotive radiators, condenser, oem radiators, truck radiators (thanks for the tip D'Animal). It was less than $200. Ordered it on Friday and it was here Monday (free shipping BTW):

Matched-up perfectly:

Dropped-in and bolted up easily. Filled it up and topped it off with a new 13 pound radiator cap and away I went!

destin----the RED looks great-------is that guy ----writing you out a ticket:D:D

I rebuilt the rear end. New seals, bearings, and Poly Performance axles.

I removed, scrubbed, detailed and painted my alternator Hunter green and it turned out great, got the idea from destin.

managed to get my dash illumination up and running. disconnected 2 shorts that were jumpered to ground.

lights come up now, and DON'T pop the fuse. more happy.

cleaned up some other wiring under the dash. even more happy.

new u-joints in rear driveshaft.... double-plus happy s***.

what else is there to do?

did a 180 on ice/snowpacked backroads. I hit the bank with passenger rear so hard it popped the tire off the rim. Had to unbolt my hi-jack from the front and realized that it is a pain in the ass up there, so I moved it to behind the front seats. Sure glad I had it though would have been almost impossible to change that flat without it.

I've always been a fan of keeping as much "stuff" inside the rig for that purpose....it accumulates all kinds of mud, dirt, snow, ice, etc when it is mounted on the exterior. Same for axes, shovels, etc. Glad your 180 didn't end with more damage than a broken bead!
