Gave the '40 a facelift and some new shoes.

I hope the new pedal from Cummins is more comfortable on my ankle, I will move the seats back as far as possible and install the cruise control.
 
Finally put headlights on it.
Found some grommets and rubber washers to get the wiper motors mounted closer to oe looking.
Put a rear step on it also, even though as a soft top it would have had a pintle hitch if anything.

I tried to order these PROCAR 90-1300 seats a week ago and today..FWIW

I still can’t find the color as light grey or dark grey….i want to match the stock ‘75 door cards.. I wrote to them 3 times…nothing

So today I said F it and ordered the grey…whatever it is, if it is not right I’ll send it back. Ordered the drivers set first…OUT OF STOCK…NOTIFY ME. 😂

Yeah they match the oem charcoal colored seats real well.

SO much more comfortable than tired old stock seats, you won't believe the difference.
 
I think a lot of stuff is on hold pending tariffs and such. Why sell today if you can get 20-50% more money for what you have in stock if you delay the sale. If the rate increase due to TAXES isn't much they don't loose much interest money compared to a Tariff Windfall.

I also despised people or companies that decline to answer inquiries. If they don't care enough to try to get your money, you can bet they will be just as careless if you need help or the product is damaged.

Amoron for example. 08/18/25. Order two 8 piece Pyrex food storage containers, paid instantly with my Amoron gift card. Get tracking #'s for two shipments - can't they just put both in one box? Follow the tracking right up to out for delivery. Go wait on mail lady, she hands me on box with one end ripped open. I said there is supposed to be 2 boxes - well I only have one, maybe tomorrow. I open the damage box the rest of they way - everything is present and un-damage. Get home a few hours later, check Amoron site.
Second package is delayed. Yea, well how was it out for delivery? Ask for a call from Amoron customer service. A few minutes later I'm taking with Richard who sounds very Indian to me. The second package wasn't shipped and will never be shipped because that seller is out of stock. Fine can I just get a refund on the box that never shipped? Well if you order again and pay for it we will refund your entire purchase price. WTF I don't want to order again I just want a refund. He says something about my debit card hasn't been charged yet for the missing box - I paid in full with my gift card that you deducted instantly at time of order? Oh OK you will get a credit on the gift card in 4 or 5 hours.

Nothing credited, Call customer service again, in minutes talking to Joy, who also sounds Indian. I tell her about the never shipped package and the conversation with Richard and no refund. She says oh ok you will get a credit in 3-6 workings days.

Look at my Amoron account and they have shipped my second package and it will be here Sept 5. WTF it from 8/18 to 9/05 to get some common glass ware? How can I track a package that never shipped. Why was I told I get a credit twice and yet made to wait even longer to see if I actually get a package? I'm not sure who at this point is the moron - them or me for continuing to buy from them!

Edit: Got smart suddenly…Jesse @Jdc1 was telling me about a HUGE supply center near him that looked like a gigantic auto dealer ship called Summit Racing. The photo he sent me made this place look like they had every part for every car made.

So…. I ordered the seats from them… $80.00 cheaper than the manufacturer… should be here IN A MONTH… but at least there’s 2 of them😎

Summit is a great parts source for non toyota stuff.
