@Green Bean i have a set of those terminal pin removal tools. On the 10 pin Holley sniper connector I used only 1 pin and needed to remove all of the others and block them off with the tiny rubber plugs. While I got them all out, I felt like a teenage boy on a first date poking around blindly for the best spot. I never did see the tabs to just press and slide the terminals out. But it is done and proved valuable a few times during that install even on the fuel pump connectors I had to make up.

My ratchet crimped is only for 16/18 and 20 ga. Did not use it much. I really would be better off having a 12/14 ga

Have you had good success with the flair tool? That one you have is a beauty

Added a few new tools to the auto electrical arsenal: First up is a Klein Ratcheting Crimper Frame Model# VDV200-010 and a 10 to 20 AWG Open Crimping Die Set for making open barrel non-insulated terminal connectors that we use with our OEM plastic terminals.

Also picked up a pair of APTIV Electrical Terminal Removal Tool for easier removal of 56 Series terminals.
Do you know if those pin removal tools will work on the "slide connectors" used on the brake and oil pressure switch connectors? I need to tighten them up and fear breaking them.

Matt:
I will defer to smarter folks with more experience, but I don't think so. I believe that these are mainly for releasing the little metal tang that snaps inside the plastic terminal connection. A sharp pick will accomplish the same task.

This morning was the actual test run in the dark, the light switch worked like a charm, I ended up rewiring the lights to ensure working lights for a long time!

Yes, an eyeglasses screwdriver or similar works well, too.

Long overdue for new tires, went with the 33x10.5 BFG in 15's. Splurged for new rims and hubcaps during the last Toyota parts sale ($106/ rim + $20 per hubcap, free shipping + no tax)

NTB was able to beat Costco pricing, including the installation, etc. Plus, I was eligible for the BFG rebate promotion at the time.

I drove Olive to work this morning (37 degrees!) without the doors or the top, so I could put on the doors and the top!

Drove my Son to school, my daughter to the public library, got gas after a quick tune. Went to my son’s football game and got to exercise my civic duty.

They wouldn’t let me vote in my LandCruiser, fascists…

By eye your throttle return spring looks a bit heavy. I'd hate for your carb bushings to wear out prematurely.

Changed fluids in the transmission, transfer case, and diffs, added a bypass hose (just in case?) and drove it to work downtown.
