The kit recommended a FJ62 tach but it or the 60 tach wouldn’t fit. I disassembled an autometer added the 4k sticker from a mud vendor and then reassembled.

Very nice. This was my first sewing project (around 1984) made with my new $5 yard sale worm drive 1951 Singer.
My wife is a quilter and her embroidery machine can do this stuff…BUT, there ain’t no way I’m asking. I have helped her set it up for The backing and hoops used for support of the fabric… she helped teach me a few new words !!

I inherited a vintage sewing machine from my wife's grandmother. I use it all the time!

Dang that’s great.
It came as a portable, but the box broke, later I was given the cabinet. I had to inlet the lid a little, to fit the worm drive motor (no belt drive). In that tool roll, it sewed like 16 layers of denim without missing a stitch. I found the manual for it on-line for free. I have only did lube service with Singer oil and a few chiropractic adjustments to get the bobbin winder to work correctly. Easily the best $5 I ever spent.
Looks great and now I know what that rubber hold down is for under my driver seat. Makes sense since the jack is next to it.
I used to keep the tool rolls under the jump seat next to the jack extension handles just moved them under the driver seat area where they actually go. Changed the windshield wipers from aftermarket to OEM used Toyota part # 85220-95402 and flushed the clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder then filled with new DOT 3 brake fluid. Thinking about replacing the radiator next with a new unit from Toyota.
@charliemeyer007 …that has to be a powerhouse machine… I have restored several of my wife’s Singer Featherweights. Even for a machine to pierce through 3 layers of denim is a feat. Nice work!
