Yeah, this first balance was to get it someone road worthy again. I think it’ll need road force balancing.You may already know of or have done this but I ended up taking my ride to a local Toyota dealership for a ‘road-force’ balancing……. It made a significant difference!

I did crank my 40 for the first time last night with the new efi, and it ran but poorly and had a much higher idle than expected or set. I don't have a video of it running, but I do have a fuel pressure test clip. After i got my new inline gauge put in. From what I understand about efi systems they shouldn't bleed pressure off like this or atleast no where near as fast. I hate how loud the pump is...but it is what it is for now. I know there are more quite options and an intank pump is in the works.
Elsie goes topless! The past few days I've been stripping the cruiser down to bare bones for some body work including a very rotted rear sill. The top came off, so did the roll cage and later the doors. As usual my old John Deere tractor came in handy.
Took some of my wife's clients to their photoshoot location. Its probably a half mile drive on a rough little trail to an open field.The clients enjoyed the ride in the jump seats.
Thanks for noticing I didn't even see that tbh, I need to check the connection and make sure it's tight.

Got the top ready for paint. Really like how the self leveling RV top sealant self corrects- helps for someone like me whose caulking skills are limited!
my inline fuel pump is nowhere near that loud. You can hear it run briefly when it pressures up to prime, but is not noticable once the engine is cranking/running.
But eventually would like to install an in-tank pump as well..

I did read somewhere that the pump holley sends in their kit is particularly loud and they were right. I know there are othere options, but what brand are you running
Pretty sure its a Walbro. It does have a rubber insulating sleeve to supposedly reduce noise/vibration, but not sure if that really does much.

Working on my new cage. I really love how this Metal Tech family cage is coming together. Lots of patience getting the joints fitting up as well as possible.
Exhaust down pipe revision #2 and the far superior version in my opinion. It's stronger and the O2 sensor is placed properly this time. I am going to heat wrap this section of the exhaust if not for heat control, for sound reduction. Any recommendations on brand for this?
