Reassembled one door yesterday and the other today. Pretty much ready for weatherstrip now.
Speaking of which, can someone tell me if the doors should be mounted to the truck when applying the weatherstripping? Or is it good enough I just glue it all in place then put the doors on later after dry, and let them stay closed to settle in properly?
I was just going to slap it on there tomorrow, but then I was wondering if I need the pressure from the doors being closed to keep the weatherstrip, I bought from @Racer65, pressed on and dry in place. If that's the case I will have to put the hard top back on which will take me a little more time.

Threw a Bestop duster on. Really becoming a great “Jeep”..... Also worked out the tabs I’ll need to make up for the Harbor Freight basket.
Took apart the seats. Wire wheeled them. Sprayed with Rustoleum Rust Reformer. A little semi gloss. Added some padding to the seats and new upholstery. Not sure if I want to add the head rests or not. If anyone is looking for some decent seat backs- the top sections are in good condition.

Installed an Energy Suspension body mount kit. I'm not noticing a big difference.
I installed an OME 2.5" lift last year (Thanks Cruiser Outfitters!) and that smoothed out the ride considerably, so I guess I can't "feel" the new body mount change.
EDIT: I'm an idiot. I backed off all of the body mount bolts one full turn and...Cadillac ride!

Got tired of looking at the old, faded, & chalky paint on the front of the frame. Wire wheeled and sanded it, then hit it with primer and some semi-gloss.
One of the POers was a welding fool. They welded a steel rod to a nut on one end of the steering damper bracket inside the frame, I guess to keep the nut from spinning?

The vin highlight idea I copied from a $100k+ FJ40 restored by the FJ Co. I usually wouldn't add detail like this to my "20 feet" Cruiser, but I like that the vin starts with FJ40!

Changed the oil (valvoline high mileage 10w-40 with some Lucas ZDDP additive) changed all the spark plugs to champion... darn thing runs like a champ!!!!!!! I thought I’d have to time it and tune the carb! Nope ran to get gas and around the neighborhood. Beautiful! Not to get the oil gauge working. 
My 2009 Mazda 3 is my normal “fun” grocery getter - for an econobox, it handles great, and the manual transmission makes it a blast on the back roads around my county. Unfortunately at 150,000mi the starter has screwed the pooch, the AC failed last summer and the MAF sensor has intermittent issues.
As such, the Clustertruck has taken over weekend warrior duties - grocery getting, hardware store runs, trips out to the local mountainbike trails, etc.
In no way am I complaining

All your axle/tranny/t-case/engine rebuilding along with them other ‘frame-off’ projects are all well and good but THIS is truly- - -noteworthy!

What are your plans for mounting the basket?
I've got a similar build but debating on using the hitch mount for a removable basket or hard mounting the basket....
Thoughts?
Got the front bezel back from the powdercoater. Also finished up the harbor freight basket for the back.
I love that color. Wish I could find one similar.

Finally got the 64 started. First time in many many years...
Ran the fuel line before the pump into a cup of fuel to test entire system.
Guessed at the dizzy position. Moved it a few times, finally got a pop.
More adjustments, then boom she started!!!
Had some minor fuel leaks around the base of the carb, tightened it up to solve it.
Going to put a few gallons in the tank this week, then get her dialed in. Just need to buy the 2 inch fuel hose to bridge the gap between the filler neck and the tank.
When running I didn't notice any intake or exhaust leaks thank God...
Also hooked up the clutch slave and got the clutch working.
Then I reinstalled the rear hatch locking hardware. It needed to be fine tuned as there's not much room for slop. No wonder they switched to the swing up rear door after only a couple years.
But I do love the look of the old school corrugated top.
No pics from today sorry. But got allot done!
