Finally put disc brakes on the front...they’ve been sitting in my shop for a year.

I’m digging the no hubcap look.

Me too! I painted mine two years ago while getting new tires. Didn't want to scratch the clips with the hubcaps. Haven't had them on since.

Also a fan of the color as well! Coral I believe? Was that color only available for the older rigs with split bench up front? Nice work brother👍

Thank you sir. Not sure what years it actually came in. The guy I bought the 66’ from had pics of his dad and him in it and the seats were coral.

pretty sure my seats in my 64 were original. They were red. I read somewhere years ago that "ox blood red" was a seat colour, so i assume they were that colour. I mistakenly got them recovered in grey. Wishing i didn't now

Saw a burned out auto on the way back from a beach trip........ installed this! :smokin:
Pipe couplings/conduit hangers won’t win ‘pretty’ awards but damn sure hold things in place!
*And they’re CHEAP......

I can’t remember for sure but I doubt that this was my idea first...... Probably, I pilfered it from @GA Architect ;)
Rick is a great guy he has been my FJ40 advisor and helper on finding many things for my ‘78. A real asset here on mud👍

I just went to their site. Would you mind linking the page where I can find that rack?

I think the rack is from Harbor Freight, the clamps are Rugged Ridge.

Spent a few days out camping and looking for trout.

The rack itself is a Harbor Freight 500# steel rack I bought for $39, deleted the center bar and used Grade 5 stainless with 1" spacer to mount to the roll bar supports. Total cost less than $120.

Just had to drill holes in the base support to mount to the roll bar supports, no welds, only 4 bolts to remove if I want to load something big in back.
