Reassembled the sides and back. Might have the 40 fully assembled in a few weeks. It will never be done.....

With all the restoration work on my rig, the ride quality is.....well, the :princess: fell asleep in the passenger Procar Rally Seat on the way home. :smokin:

Oh, the 40 served as the DD this week.

Installed 4 degree shims and hardware.po installed a 2.5 lift and with the 33.10.5 BFG AT's, the truck was all over the road.
100% ride improved with the shims installed

I put a little over 300 miles on Sampson this weekend. I took a day trip to Chattanooga Tn on Saturday and today I just rode through the country side and took a few pictures.

I got my battery box done and the fan mounted. If this thing runs cool enough with this set up, I'll tidy up the fan brackets. I can only hope. I mounted my MSD in the glove box. Started to wire everything and spent more money with Summit....uhg....I'm at the point where I'm getting hundred dollared to death. The good news is, its starting to look like an engine bay.

Drove it as usual, but with 40 year old stuff it needs help now and then. Clutch pedal suddenly started going almost to the floor to disengage. Adjusted and bled but no change. Replaced master, bled and adjusted, now works perfect. Then a few days later I came to a red light and the engine died, tried to restart but it would run for a couple seconds and die, then nothing at all. Not getting fuel. Swapped out the COR (keep a spare in the glove compartment), started right up and I went on my way. Yes it's a 3FE, COR = Circuit Opening Relay. I keep a spare EFI relay and COR relay with me always.
