I have a huge dent in my door because the limiter was non-existent and it swung open multiple times and struck the fender grrr! The wind caught it a couple of times so in your garage it's probably fine but I'd hate to mess up that beautiful paint job. Just do something to restrict it striking something.

I'd say a large sheet magnet, or series of them (for temporary use), to absorb light impacts or prevent unwanted scratching. For longer term, you could have the magnet sheets vinyl wrapped in a solid color (matching your vehicle) on their topside. ~Skydog.

EBI Cruisers Also had many good used limiters in stock last time I visited Steve there... and they won't be $75.

Yeah we get some good sunsets, If any of you guys get out this way head to Tasmania & put the Cradle mountains on your list.
I live on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, lots of great coastal driving or head a bit inland to the Alpine National Park. Them's some views
(might need a 40 to get around though)
Just re-taped all the hinge threads & replaced the bolts, only 30 degrees Celsius so had to have a few cold ones My reward system

Took the old girl out for a spin Rocks & rolls a bit (wheel alignment) Stuff rattles about , doors still need a bit of adjusting as just put new weather seals on. All good though Made new list

on my short list of things to find/do. thankfully its the rainy season so no dust. and i figured let the overflow go there, even with no lid, its better than going over my fan and then all over my engine bay

thanks for the kind words was a one week engine swap that turned into 2 months. but when i drive it now and im going more than twice as far on the same amount of fuel, and when i hear that turbo and blast by jeeps who think they cool, its worth every dime and second i put into it
