Love to see some fresh pics of that motor home mark if your friend doesn't mind:)

I Have a few saved from the past.
Love that 40 home on wheels:)

I have my fingers crossed that the motorhome is going to leave her yard for the first time in almost two years for the memorial we are both attending this weekend.
Look up super Saw Jim on YouTube. He passed away a few weeks ago. One of the last 'old folks' in my desert tribe.

Ah! 9am I would have been heading WEST on Burbank, to pick up a load of firewood to take to my friend (owns the mini-motorhome FJ40) tomorrow.

I get around. :pant:

East. West. I keep mixing it up.

Been in California 20+ years and I still have to think about where the ocean is in relation to me before answering the East/West question.

A local bought a one owner 64, he came over to get some wheels from me and mentioned he was offered some spare parts, which he didnt want or need, i said he should go back and get them, be he wasnt interest, so he hooked me up with the info and I contacted the seller.

It was actually the day before my bday....so Saturday and Sunday(bday) I spent opening presents. no wonder my wife has a hard time getting me anything ;)

So where did you strike this vein of gold?!

Photos are self explanatory.....

looks great, what all did you do?

Started the restoration process on the front seats for the 75.
I was going to have them sand blasted and powder coated but thought it would be more fun to work on them myself
Let the seat pans and various pieces soak in a baby pool vinegar/water bath for 5 days then pressure washed the heck out of them. I was pretty amazed at the results. Maybe hard to see in the before pic but these things were very rusty when I put them in, when I pulled them out and washed them off, if was like new in most places. I'll do some touch up work before spraying them with POR15 but really pleased with the results.
The backs are now taking their turn in the baby pool.
More updates to come...

Where are you located? The 70 in your avatar looks mighty familiar, like one I saw a few times in Santa Clara.

Pismo beach..

Patients youngling! Time it will take to perfect your training. Then again you could use the old Jedi masters trick. Send your harness to @Coolerman. That'll get the job done! !!!! Go ahead.......ask me how I know? ! :poof:

Another batch of parts in. I got my rear harness from @Coolerman which is way to nice to put in my cruiser. Also a bunch of small parts for the knuckle swap and a 80-series master from @orangefj45. A couple more parts and I should be all set. Maybe I'll get around to pulling the front axle apart tomorrow.
