What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week? (40 Viewers)

Do you have a sealer to recommend?

I think it depends on what you are doing, IE what level. Tub re-hab etc etc? 3M has good seam sealer for gutters and panels. My flex seal was more of a preventative measure at this point. Down the road, if I were to do a full on re-hab, I'd use a product like the 3M seam sealer...

Serious meats on those rims................

Finally got around to making up the pto shaft for my FJ45. The winch gear is out of a 60 series so I cut the three piece shaft down to two.

Finished building the body rotisserie for the body, mounted the body and started sanding. Photos to follow tomorrow.

Are those platesame to tie the cage to the frame? Couldn't find those on metal tech page. ???

Big week for me... Picked up my Metaltech cage, Real Steel bows and frame from the powder coater.

Installed my 4+ sliders, very impressed with these. VERY HEAVY DUTY and an awesome vendor! (Metaltech is great also)

I Had a rainy day and decided to make a project that I started thinking about a while ago. I have never liked the idea of separate battery box's but I dont want to modify the electrical system in my troop carrier so I think this is a good option.

70AH AGM Deep Cycle Battery, in Fully sealed hard case. 2 Cigg plugs, 2 USB power plugs and Anderson plug. A battery isolator, cuts power to everything.

On the side of the battery are a variety of cables that plug into the Anderson, one with a cigg end, and another with jumper ends for charging the battery and an Anderson - Anderson extender.

I managed to put it all together for a little over $250 AUS.

I got tired of just listening to the wind, so I decided to install a stereo in my tuffy console. For the speakers I originally had them velcroed to the top of my confer box. I wanted to have access to the box without having the speakers in the way though. I thought I would try a different approach and mounted the pioneer TW150 boxes to the back of the seats using metal strap without drilling any holes. If I don't like them then no damage done. The only downside is they are rear facing so that might make them a lot harder to hear with the top off.

The 40's "new" engine is ready to come off the stand and be mated to the SM465! Personally, I think she looks pretty good. I can’t wait to see it surrounded by Smurf Blue.

Also for your listening enjoyment, here is a link to the engine running before it was sold by the previous owner:

Looks bad ass!

I can't play the video because I'm not on Facebook... Does it have a big cam in it (lopey idle)?
