Remember you'll have to trim one of the tabs of the 9011 so that it'll fit in the headlight housing
Thanks for the reminder. Toenail clippers work great for this.

Finally had time to baseline some items on the relatively new to us truck.

We happen to live in probably the rustiest place on Earth so I really wanted to extend the life of the kdss valve block. Rubbed it down with some good waterproof grease. I did open each 8mm bolt a turn or two, all good, not frozen.

Also did front and rear diffs along with all the grease zerks. Super easy jobs with a lift. Truck is close to 50k and probably never had this work done before. No issues with any of the diff bolts either.

Tcase fluids supposed to arrive this weekend.

Lastly, just a picture of a non rusty undercarriage. I absolutely love it. Really the first rust free truck I've had in probably 20 years and it's just a pleasure working in it.

Had it detailed, and then wheeled it 7 days later 😅🙃🤦🏽‍♂️. We Ran John Bull trail at night backwards. I had been through there in my 80 on 37's a few years ago and I do not remember it being so tough 😵‍💫. Either way, it was fun. I led, only had to winch the 80 and the 100 series in my group at the very end through the gate keeper. I have been storing an almost brand new set of 37'' Ko2's I sourced earlier this year. I have been reluctant to make the jump due to all the additional mods needed, but I think it's time! RPM Garage Steve has some beautiful new HDR true bead lock wheels I think I am going to pull the trigger on.

I have the same ride and live in Jax too! Hope to see you on the road. Those tires look great on it.
Nice! I think I’ve seen your 200 at Marsh Landing before. I normally am driving around my Mini Cooper, the 200 is mostly for weekends or road trips. See you around!

"restored" my headlights for the second time in a few years. Last time I did it, it only lasted a few months. This time I finished with Opti-coat Opti-Lens sealant on the recommendation of another MUDder, so we'll see if it lasts any longer this time. I couldn't get all the yellow out, but got back a lot of clarity. Sucks how s***ty the plastic is and how unobtainium new headlights are :/ Never gonna get very close to perfect.

That looks great, and would be plenty good for me, instead of spending $850. But with the current 15% off Lexus sale, you can get a new set from the dealer for around $850.

Can I see some more photos of this please? I am about to buy the same rims / tyres for the LX and would love to see some more photos!
Hi there, sorry for a late reply, I was away a bit. I am quite happy with the tyres. Yes, they are louder than stock, yes, they have a speed limit od 160 km/h, but they grip well offroad. Can't say much about the durability yet...

Thanks so much, appreciated. Is it stretching the relationship to see some shots of the whole car showing the rim with the body etc? Im supposed to pick mine up this Friday.

Mine are finished in gloss, but your matte / satin look is way better… I’ll probably just spray them in a matte / satin sealant before the Tyres go on.

How long was his lead time? I’m thinking of getting the ahc globe protectors added after I replace the globes…
Check the website, they have live inventory! If you are talking about the SOK0081 AHC protection plates for the SOK1329 sliders, then they have them in stock now!

Drove to Western NC from DC and hit the first six digit milestone. Decided to to clean a little extra for this 100k anniversary. Had the tires re-balanced and rotated. TPMS cried a malfunction foul two times the following day but seems to have leveled out since.

Cussed it to no end with limited results.

Have very little miles since purchase and still
learning the platform but dumped a bunch of coolant on a short drive to town which led to trying to drop skids which led to all bolts way lose except the one thats not. It was first one I touched to start the project off right.

Finally won (?) but now it’s dark, my hand is battered and I’m beat. TBC another day

I hate that the skid slot got enlarged instead of rounding the carriage bolt shoulder.
