Thanks so much, appreciated. Is it stretching the relationship to see some shots of the whole car showing the rim with the body etc? Im supposed to pick mine up this Friday.

Mine are finished in gloss, but your matte / satin look is way better… I’ll probably just spray them in a matte / satin sealant before the Tyres go on.
There you go ;) Just after wrap and new tyres shots ;)

Looks good but maybe a bit too wide? I had 285/70/17 Wildpeaks with 25 offset just stay even with fender width, and they had some minor rubbing at full lock but easy to fix. Why so wide?

BFG KO3’s in 285/70/17 mounted on Method MR305 NV w/+25 offset I believe.
I put these on pre lift because I thought they would fit without trimming, but they are rubbing the front of the wheel well above the mustache well before lockout.
Wide was not my intent. I thought I had it figured out so that the edge of the tire would be right at the edge of the fender.
Not sure if I made a mistake on offset, or if it’s the new KO3’s, but the tire seems to be much bigger than 285 70 17.
I’ll be doing a little reshaping this weekend and hopefully once the lift goes in all will be good.

Just reviewed my paperwork. Offset on my wheels is 0 not +25. I guess I should use my glasses more often 😂

Toyota recommends the LT285/70R17 tires for their 17" TRD "Rock Warrior" wheels which have a +50mm offset - and no rubbing on the LC200. I know their recommendation is sound because that's what I've been running on my 2013 LC200 since new.

Your "0" offset wheels push the tires too far outboard causing contact with the front of the front wheel well area as well as screwing up (that's a technical term) the scrub radius (you can look it up if not a familiar term). No amount of lift is going to solve this problem.

TL;DR: a "0" offset wheel is no bueno on a LC200.

well, that’s not good. Thank you for the information. I did a little bit of reshaping today, solved about 60% of the issue, but I don’t see how this will work without some major trimming.

Removed the front runner rack and went back to the OEM. Much happier with the look and, since I’ve never mounted anything on it, function trumps form. If anyone is interested in a slimline rack, it’s for sale (AR)

I’m in the same boat as you and would really like to get into at least some +25 offset wheels.

I am right in the middle of changing ahc fluid and as I was just refilling the reservoir, FedEx pulls up with the globes I ordered from Japan on the 19th. What timing! I am following McEagle555’s procedure except I’m thinking bleed and replace one globe at a time. In between I’ll start the truck and switch ahc to normal and let it do whatever ifs going to do, but make sure reservoir doesn’t empty. Fingers crossed.
While prepping for my foray into the underworld of the LX, I picked up a bunch of stuff at Harbor Freight, and that hand pump made fluid exchange easy. But a real shocker was the torque load cell I bought to check my calibration on my old click style torque wrench. My trusty old wrench was off by 25%! Didn’t see that one coming. Fifty bucks just likely saved me a whole lot of heartbreak.
Re tire size discussion, the photo I am going to try to include will show LT285/70/17 Wildpeaks AT3w tires on 25 offset Icons. The width is perfect, but slight adjustment on front wheel wells was needed.
