Thanks @smittycrusher! I assume you were one of the lucky field testers. Chad (@JJBiggs) called yesterday and finalized my order. Also ordered rhino-rack and awning. This is what happens when you can't take vacation and eat out for a year....you start throwing $$ at your rig! I'm pretty excited. Glad to hear you have been happy with the RTTx even in pre-production.I think you will love it. I love mine!

Which rhino rack size did you go with? Are you getting the new 2.0 version platform and the backbone? I know many shops are still trying to clear the old model and there are some good discounts available. Thanks @smittycrusher! I assume you were one of the lucky field testers. Yes, got the backbone (RTLB1) only. The tent will land directly on top. No need for pioneer rack. In my opinion, this is the ultimate in low profile and light weight setups. Here's a shot of Chads 4runner with the same setup (tent removed). I had him add the load bars on my tent order so I can still carry a small load on top of the tent.Which rhino rack size did you go with? Are you getting the new 2.0 version platform and the backbone? Trim the plastic!
I never did figure out how to get it out. There was just enough room to fish the cable up behind and over the the cubby. It is a real pain in the ass.Any beta for removing the cubby door? I think I might drop in this switch soon too. TIA.
What was your cost?
$465... I had 3 dealers cancel my orders as Toyota denied the order stating inventory was being held for replacement/damaged Heritage owners only. Finally got lucky... only ordered 4 and keeping stock spare. I don’t do 5 tire rotations so seemed like a waste to get a 5th.What was your cost?

You are the LX king. Excited to see your reasoning.
Do you have the 5.7l in your 200? This looks like a great mod.I installed a torque converter lock up kitFrom Richards Auto Australia

Are you getting any kind of warnings on your dash for taking out the rear seat? When I took mine out for a couple of days I got a warning related to the SRS system. Didn't know if there was a way to clear that warning and keep it from coming back. Techstream?Thank you. It’s perfection for me. And I got lucky that the Therm-a-Rest is EXACTLY the length and width of the space. To level the area I added furniture pads in the space where the backseat goes so that it’s level front to back. Then I added a good sticky yoga pad, over that an army foam sleeping pad, and then the Therm-a-Rest MondoKing 3D on it all. Maybe overkill, but that’s the order. In a perfect world I’d create some kind of permanent sleeping platform, but I like the idea that the LC can go “normal” at any point.

I had the same issue. Their web site states that you "need" to trim the plastic... Nah; I trimmed the CBI brackets with a metal cut off wheel to fit around the hood line and plastic trim; repainted and problem resolved.Just tried installing CBI Offroad ditch light brackets. The brackets press down on the plastic at base of windshield a good bit. Followed all install guidelines but I'll send them back as they need to adjust design for 2018 models. Too much tension on that plastic and it will crack eventually.

I think the airbag light/code may be persistent if you put the resistor in after getting the code (it was on mine). You can reset it with Techstream and some handheld code readers. This thread should help you resolve that w/ a very inexpensive resistor...

Removing 2nd row seats
Hi- I'm new here as I just bought a gently used 2017 LC. I searched the forums and can't find an answer. I've removed my 3rd row seats easily but I'm stumped about removing the 2nd row seats. I called a local dealer who said if I did remove the 2nd row seats the rest of the airbags would no...forum.ih8mud.com
