Sneak peak at a new addition. Couple Schrader valves hide nicely under the tailgate flap.

Re-greased the Chaos UCA's.

Finally got around to changing a bent knuckle and found out my oem pads are shot after only 25k miles and my outer tie rod end is shot too. Good stuff.

It was Slee sliders and that Kaon shelf everyone was raving about. I’m loving both. And that darn shelf made it from Australia to my place near Los Angeles in 5 days. It would have been 2 days, but they sent to Louisville (distribution center?) before sending it back to LA area. Too funny.

Is the RLD awning a rebranded bundutec bunduawn? They look identical. What’s the noise while at speed like? Looks great, I’m really flirting with this idea.

Not sure about the bundutec bunduawn.

I haven’t noticed any excessive noise, the roof rack already contributes enough to that.

That's a slick sleeping set up. What did you use as a platform for your sleeping pad?

Thank you. It’s perfection for me. And I got lucky that the Therm-a-Rest is EXACTLY the length and width of the space. To level the area I added furniture pads in the space where the backseat goes so that it’s level front to back. Then I added a good sticky yoga pad, over that an army foam sleeping pad, and then the Therm-a-Rest MondoKing 3D on it all. Maybe overkill, but that’s the order. In a perfect world I’d create some kind of permanent sleeping platform, but I like the idea that the LC can go “normal” at any point.

RLC Weldfab rear bumper. Painting tomorrow. Jerry cans coming from Amazon by 1/27. 5” lights eBay in a week. Sending James pictures. Pretty sure it will look better with a propane tank holder on one side replacing a Jerry can holder. I’ll probably get to make me a 2 in one Jerry can holder.

Looks great! After cutting the bumper cover, were you able to install the pieces while the new bumper was on ?

I ordered this exact locking hitch pin after skinning my middle finger trying to get a standard bent hitch pin out over Thanksgiving. I ordered the 3.5" stainless version because that's what it looked like you had in this picture This hitch pin still doesn't clear the plastic on the red (non locking) side without binding up. And I can't get the locking mechanism on the other end of it either. I was going to try trimming plastic away before returning it, but just wondering if I may have ordered the wrong variant?
Trim the plastic!

Just passed the smog check to help keep this hellstate "green" and keep my registration. Drove home to watch two F250 circus lift bro trucks with CA plates rolling dark black coal down the freeway.

Chased gremlins in the HVAC and finally just broke down and bought a new blower motor

Installed much needed speakers for the stereo.

Do tell... :)

Other than slapping them in, I haven't had a chance to drive around or test yet. Them being airbags added to the AHC suspension. I'll create a thread this weekend to document.

Drove the poor thing for the first time in 6 weeks. Between work and avoiding salty moist roads, it’s been sleeping in the garage. Put 40 miles on it just driving around finally.

At 8150 miles on the 20. Due to a change of travel plans, mileage per year will likely be less than 5k.

After a LOT of debate I decided to roll the dice on @JJBiggs terrapod kick-starter. If you haven't checked it out, this may turn out to be one of the better RTTs on the market in the US.

I think you will love it. I love mine!
