The tires were a great deal. The wheels were not really on sale. The wheels were comparable to the best prices I could find online through. Going to test fit them tomorrow. If they do not rub terribly, then I will run them until I have a date with Slee on June 4 for some BP-51's.
First oil change today for me, new to me 2011 w/ 105k now. It took more time to remove the skid plates than to do the oil change (have ARB bumper/plate as well). Found the drain plug for the oil filter housing was so tight the entire housing came loose first. Not a problem but made a mess with all the oil coming out with the filter.
The Toyota recommend filter YZZA is the same as my ISF and I have a case of them so that was convenient.
Filled her back up with 0W-20 Mobil 1 (cheap cases from Costco). Took about 8.3 qts.
Easy job made easier by putting the LX570 AHC in Hi mode. No ramps required.

Same here! I ended up installing a Fumoto valve. No mess next time!

I dumped mine in my 80 and 100. The thing I have actually had to do is buy a tire in Moab after slicing one. I have had to do that twice over the years. Main reason I went with the 13G aux tank so I could run a 2nd spare. If I ever slice a tire again I have two matching spares so wont have to buy a tire or be in a position in an expedition to have to go without a spare which I did once.
I was running my tires at too low an air pressure. Used the 18 psi I ran in my 80 and the 100 and 200 are both heavier. I since have uped to 22psi and havent had any issues. But still, since I have actually needed an extra spare thought I should keep it
I think you were planning on the bigger aux tank so you wont need yours

FYI I'm going to keep mine just incase I want to carry 2 spares. With all the weight we add to our rigs the 10 or 15 lbs seems relatively insignificant. Just my .02 cents

Finished up the drawers and electrical today. I had thrown them in 2 weeks ago for last weekend’s trip to Moab, but I cleaned everything up today. Slee group 31 tray, Interstate AGM battery, 6 gauge duplex Anchor Marine wire run back to the drawers to a Blue Sea fuse box via Blue Sea circuit breaker, mounted and hard wired ARB 63 quart fridge, National Luna hatch light, @cruiseroutfit third row hatch kit, and a Blue Sea outlet strip with built in voltmeter. Also changed the license plate bulbs to LED - crazy they’re still halogen on the 16!
Spent my afternoon and evening on a creeper with a handful of wrenches, my impact driver, and a tub of anti-sieze. Drove the front up on ramps, then put stands under the rear axle as high as I dared. First stage in ultimate rustproofing. Every single bolt I could reach without major work got removed, anti-sieze applied, then reinstalled. Removed all the plates and various shields, sprayed all the dangly bits with Amsoil Metal Protector (love that stuff). The KDSS balancing valve got special treatment, several coats, them a schmear of good ol military artillery grease, AKA cosmoline.
Changed the oil while I was at it.

After doing my Icon + SPC this weekend, I can relate with being sore from crawling around and wrenching! And I'm very thankful that I held out for a rust-free California mall Cruiser! Even with that, some of the KDSS harware was a bit crusty. That would have been a nightmare job if I needed to cut off a fused nut.
It's funny, when I had my 100 I was always impressed with how well built it was. But this 200... it is a whole nother level of beefy! Everything seems upsized in diameter and weight! What a beast! It's right up there with 1-Ton truck gear... but with Toyota build quality.
+1 - very interesting. I wonder if one of the Toyota parts gurus would know how to look it up?
P.S. Words I would have never expected to hear in the context of a Land Cruiser: "That's probably why it jumps well." !!
Very nice! Are you saying that because you can mount the tent to the cross bars, and then put it on the roof and bolt the cross bars into the Prinsu rails/mounts? (I don't have either Prinsu or RTT, just have been reading up). Or for some other reason?
