Took mine to Slee Off road. Had LX470 suspension converted to OME lift plus Slee step sliders installed. All fluids changed along with T's replaced. Wheel bearings repacked, Also new plugs. Should be good to go for a few years.

My powder coater has ovens, sand and glass media in house. They charge $50 per wheel.

1- bake old finish off
2- glass bead to clean up surface
3- powder

If the powder co has to farm out the prep, the price goes up.

Who do you use? I am in SE PDX and am looking to powdercoat my LX wheels.

Do they take all the AHC crap off or do they drain it and just cap it off?

Slee does a top of the line job. Remove everything even the dash lights and replaces the console controls with a nice holder that my sun glasses now reside. I drove from Las Vegas to Golden Colorado to have Cristo do the work on my 2005. Worth the 12 hour drive.

Improving on the Slee step sliders for 1" body lift. Added 2" .25wall box tubing to replace C channel and thicker brackets to prevent bending. Should be mo bomber now and the same height as pre BL.

Uhh...WISHED I HADN'T BOUGHT AND INSTALLED DOUG THORLEY HEADERS...TWO PAIRS IN FACT!

I told him he can't give me a second offense as a first offense...I threw these on for pictures and peeling them off after. It's a $125 ticket, I'll spend a day and battle it.

what fog lights are you using? I thought about grabbing some of the X6 LED fogs TRS has on the site, but I'm afraid they'll be too big for that hole.

You can take them out of the housing and they are much smaller. I'll try a pair and post pictures. I built xenon fog lights last year, just never installed them until now. 3700K 35W.
