Want that snorkel. I did drivers side CV boot rebuild. Will tackle passenger side later in the week

Installed Pfrans LED Kit, installed brake and reverser light LEDs, swapped the steering wheel, center console and shift from my totalled truck.

Removed the stock rack.

Simple Greened the whole thing, washed, clay barred, Nu-polish waxed it, shined the tires and black trim, conditioned all the weather stripping, degreased the engine.

Re-installed my LabRak Expo rack.

New hood and liftgate struts.

This sounds like it took the whole weekend!

Hey im Looking for stock running boards black 04 and up if anyone doesn't mind shipping to FL

Lexol helps

Treated both Cruiser's to Lexol cleaner followed by Lexol conditioner. The constant "creaking/vibration" in both rear seats went away. Had I known this project would have been done much sooner! :)

New sway bar links and bushings (thanks RobRed for posting the parts list), and new CV boot clamps up front (thanks PFran for the kit).

Shot some Red Line synthetic CV grease up into the boots for kicks. I could not really find a definitive answer re: alternatives to Toyota CV grease...so I just picked something expensive.

New Front Carpet and misc. other interior parts in 06 UZJ100

Finally got around to installing my new front carpet and other misc. parts (center console panel, heated seat buttons, trans selector switch and new foot rest on drivers side floor). Waiting on cargo area carpet to arrive from Japan. Thanks to Sam at Lowe Toyota for helping with the parts. Can't wait for the cargo area carpet to arrive to finish out the interior.

Had Christo and the boys at Slee install a 1-1/2" med OME lift on the princess. We're moving so I didn't have time to do it myself so I figured I take advantage of having the pros down the street before we leave. Those guys do a great job and the thing rides like a dream. I'll add pics to the "build thread" when we get settled. If We're lucky I'll get out of here with some skid plates too. :flipoff2:

Was it hard to do?
Feel any difference?

EASY PEASY, soak all associated nuts with PB BLaster and replace all the nuts and bolts that you remove...I felt a difference and I couldn't get to theactual bushings holding the sway bar to the frame so I just did the end links.

I just did this project too. I soaked w/ PBB also and It all came apart very easily. No rust on my rig though. To clarify, yes you should replace all nuts and bolts with new ones. Mounting bushings replaced as well as the links. Feels tighter even though the old ones didn't look very bad even at 130k.

Note: I did all this with the tires on, and the truck on the ground. No jacking or jack stands needed. I am a bit higher than stock as she has OME installed. Took about an hours time.

Not difficult at all. Like ABQ I did not do the bushings at the frame, but they were still in good shape so I am not worried.

Good idea to order the new links, bushings and all the hardware together. RobRed has the complete parts list here:

Might as well have new nuts and bolts, whether you break an original on the way out or not. Mine came off easy with 154K.

Honestly, I spent more time cleaning up grease that my CVs had flung than I did removing and replacing the links + bushings.

Does it feel different? Um, yeah, sure...sure it does

Replaced the Gauge cluster lights with LEDs. Replaced the radiator cap with a new one. Replaced the front corner lights with LEDs. When you do that, the LEDs turn on a split second before the conventional blinker bulbs creating this pattern:

That's why I got LED brake lights. They turn on noticeably faster.

Found a great place to re-do the inside. Got all new carpets and seat covers. The place is clean and well organized and you can't beat the prizes.

In the workshop:
