Not quite finished yet, but every weekend brings me closer!

Finished installation of Comeup 12.5–used @TRAIL TAILOR hidden winch mount.
Although I was planning on remote mounting the solenoid, it turned out I was able to squeeze winch and solenoid in there, with access to the controller plug and the spool-control handle both easy from above, behind the grille.

Super impressed with all the stuff from Jason I’ve recently installed—super beefy and absolutely trouble free installation.

Did the heater Ts and hoses on my 98 LX with 121k on the clock. It wasn’t necessarily a hard job, but definitely frustrating. I should’ve listened to other forum members and got the specialty clamp pliers. Driver’s side T had been changed but found plastic pieces of the old T still inside the hose leading to the firewall.

Installed an Ironman 2” nitro kit this weekend with my brother in law and a buddy. Time consuming but straight forward. Ended up just cutting the hydraulic shocks out.

I'm curious what you have for weight on the back end, and that your height ended up being. I installed the same kit recently, but swapped my OEM springs with 30mm spacers back in because the rear end was so high. I didn't want to have to crank the front end up that high to match (minus rake). I have no extra weight in the rear though, and I have the third row removed.

It came out to 2” perfect almost all around. Having the indexed torsion bars was great help. In the end we didn’t need to crank much to adjust it correctly. Almost the same as when it was in high mode. AHC N & H in pic below for reference. Rear seats are out, and I did the install with a near empty gas tank. However I do keep a large Pelican case with about 75lbs of recovery equipment, tools and miscellaneous gear.

I've been going through the new addition to the driveway (99 LX470), and in the spirit of Christmas, I've been making a list and checking it twice:

Low brake pedal engagement

No Master key

Telescope motor dead

B2796 code

Fog lights dead

Seat leather worn

Steering wheel leather worn

Shifter leather worn

Missing passenger rear mudflap

Condensation in DS headlight

Stereo CD changer broken.

Unlocking Driver door with key sets off alarm.

For some odd reason, I am reminded of why I love this forum, and I haven't even made it to the @2001LC repair/restoration threads yet.

What's your budget like?

What's your budget like?

At this point, I haven't really set the budget. It was an impulse purchase, over the holidays, of a one owner, no accident, no rust, completely stock, 250k mile vehicle, that needs some work, but the price was right.

This isn't so much a build or a restoration at this point, it is more of a father son project, with the eventual end goal being a baselined/reliable/familiar extra vehicle. Some of the advantages of being the 3rd 100 series in the driveway, is that we already have a cache of parts/upgrades sitting in the garage, and we don't have to always bolt everything back together before work/school.

It was kind of frustrating to do, yes, until I figured out I could rotate the clamps by gripping one of the tabs with a plyer, and by twisting the plyer in the direction that forces the clamps to spread, I was able to rotate them relatively easily to a better position.
