To say my alignment was out of spec would be an understatement of epic proportions! Headed to Firestone and got a lifetime 4-wheel alignment for $160!!! The tech that worked on my truck was a cruiser enthusiast. He complimented the ToughDog suspension and was very impressed with the NitroGear UCAs.....Once the alignment was done, took the rig out on a nice drive....
Sad to see the AHC go, but the rig looks great! I have to ask, though: You couldn't find a smaller shovel?
I ordered a couple from eBay it's called BG frigi clean it's getting hard to find. This is what it looks like it comes with a small can of air freshener as well like the Toyota kit comes with.

Yeah, didn't want to lose the height adjustability of the AHC and the smooth ride. But, I've got an agenda for the rig that involves way more weight than it currently carries. My TBs and springs were shot....like almost zero spring rate left. They needed replacing and I figured I'd just gut it out, sell the good parts and recoup a lot of the investment in the new suspension. I know I'll miss the AHC. It was truly fantastic.

I am not a big alignment guru, but don't we want positive caster on our rigs ? Your LX looks great by the way. Anxious to see your next mods too.
For someone like me who is planning to keep his LC mostly stock (don't hate me! I love the stock look, OK I might replace the running boards), can the AHC system be added?

Update: not much luck with forum search. It seems most people are removing the AHC system, not adding it. What does everyone do with them once removed? Can a LC be retro-fitted with AHC? Mine is a 2003. Perhaps I can work something out with someone removing theirs?

Did you have any issues with your nitro UCA bushing squeaking? I used lube in mine and the damn things still squeak after two alignments.
Pulled all the old wood grain off a few weeks ago, but wasn't thrilled with the plastic. I liked the black but wanted to do something different. Went with a black cherry replacement kit. Gives it a nice updated look to the tired interior.

Is that the final alignment measurements? Was your alignment tech not able to get the caster within spec with the Nitro Gear UCA's?

Put the Spidertrax front spacers back on and added front and rear Timbrens. The rear are for towing but holy hell do the fronts from justdifferentials.com improve the ride! Less body roll, even smoother on BLM/FS roads and just generally buttery. Frankly I'm surprised they don't get more play here for how well they compliment an OME/Slee lift kit.

That looks amazing! Now please fix your ratty leather on the shifter to complete it!
This was as close as they could get. They said they maxed out everything. Drives fine though.
tell me how and I will! I think its beyond what leather conditioner will do!
